How to Get Your Yotpo Free Trial

Founded in 2011, Yotpo is a content marketing platform based in the US, which offers individual users and business owners the smartest way to increase conversions, generate customer content, and drive traffic via rich media, social Q&As, and reviews.

The platform maximizes the potential of User-Generated Content (UGC) for businesses and ensures that you only create content that is easy to read for search engine crawlers and viewers. Do you plan on using Yotpo to boost your content marketing efforts? If so, follow these steps below to obtain/request a free trial:

Step 1:

To get a free trial at Yotpo, users are first required to “Request a Demo”. To do so, enter Yotpo's website. Then, if you want to understand more about the platform and its features, scroll down. To continue with the free trial process, click on the “Request a Demo” tab, located at the top right corner of the page and highlighted in green.

Upon clicking on “Request a Demo”, you will be presented with this page. As you can see, you are required to provide a few contact details. Therefore, enter your first name, last name, business email, phone number, and website URL address in the empty boxes.

Once done, click on “Let’s Talk”, highlighted in yellow. Wait for about 10 minutes, until you receive a confirmation email highlighting the necessary procedure to obtain a free trial. Follow the steps and enjoy using Yotpo for free.

However, purchase a subscription plan if you want to continue using the software after the trial expires. There are four options available: Starter, Pro, Powerhouse, and Enterprise. Choose one that best suits your needs.

So, now that you are familiar with the steps mentioned above, signing up for a free trial at Yotpo won’t be a problem.

  • Yotpo is a great way to automatically follow up with customers and make sure they're satisfied with the way you do business. I have a small e-commerce store running WooCommerce on WordPress. With so many online stores being less than credulous, the ratings and reviews left by customers through the YotPo system puts their mind at easy.

    Pros : - Great value - Excellent Customer Service - Truly hands on company

    Cons : None I can think of.

    My overall feeling for Yotpo is that it has added professionalism to my storefront, offers confidence to potential customers and rewards existing customers. Most importantly it engages them - Yotpo allows the store owner to reply to every review and I do that without fail as it's a means of communication (and saying 'thanks') that is difficult to achieve in the sometimes faceless world of e-ccommerce. I'd go as far as saying that Yotpo is my most social tool, more so than the big social platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

    Yotpo is proving one of my best software investments. Since introducing this review platform to my online store, I have seen a notable increase in the numbers of people purchasing. I believe this is because potential customers have more confidence in an online store if they see other customers real life experience. Customers seem to like the Yotpo review app because it is simple and quick to leave a review and because Yotpo has the option to offer customers a discount voucher for posting a review. This definitely generates repeat customer orders and so promotes loyalty.

    Yotpo is also packed with features to help you collect and share reviews. It's easily connected to Facebook and Twitter. It's accepted by Google for product star ratings and for star ratings in Adwords campaigns, (although I've experienced some technical problems with this, see Con's below). Yotpo is customizable and the support levels when required, (and certainly during the early months when you might need them the most) are good.andnbsp;



    Pros :

    It may be capable of more that I haven't discovered yet but here's my list of positives:

    • Simple and quick for customers to review, including on mobile
    • Ability to reward customers for reviews and for posting reviews to social media - proven sales generator
    • Ability to respond to customers
    • Ability to post reviews to social media
    • Customizable appearance for your storefront
    • Can collect store and product reviews in a weighting that you decide
    • Easy on the eye reviews and star ratings add credibility and confidence to the storefront and category/ product pages
    • Accepted by Google for star ratings including within Adwords and at a lower entry level than Google Trusted Stores
    • New features are being added including (but which I've not yet added to my store) a new carousel feature just launched which will add a new and more visual element to the storefront and other critical store pages.

    Cons :

    For me not so many:

    • Like most platforms you need to rise above the basic membership levels to unlock all features and so my comments need to be qualified as a Pro plan user. Worth the investment in my opinion
    • Getting Google star ratings to work effectively is an ongoing challenge which Yotpo are working on. I believe it impacts some SAAS platforms differently from others so it might be worth checking with Yotpo before signing up if this is important to you
    • Yotpo does ask customers for a review at timed intervals (x days after purchase) and you can set repeat messages for customers who don't respond. However (and especially for orders we ship to the USA, Canada and Australia/ NZ) the time taken for an order to arrive (especially with customs delays) can mean the customer already has a review request before the goods - it's not possible to customise the timing of review requests.
