Onboarding & Support
Cirrus Insight has been one of those products that are a great concept but can be a bit finicky at times. I’ll explain. First off, I use Cirrus Insight as a tool that attaches to my Gmail account. Cirrus is then linked to my Salesforce profile so that all my activity can be synchronized and saved. Since Gmail is the primary email provider I use for work, it is a perfect and seamless integration. The Cirrus Insight toolbar appears on the right-hand side of the Gmail inbox and contains valuable information. From the tabs top to bottom, they include: a search bar that allows you to search for any lead, contact or account that is saved in Salesforce. This is a great tool if you need to search for someone/thing quickly without having to navigate away from the screen you’re on. Second, there is a “My Task” tab that lists all Salesforce tasks that have been entered. You can add a task at any time as well as set the filter for how tasks are displayed. By default, I use the “Today Overdue” marker to show me what tasks I need to complete today as well as what tasks I have missed.There is also a “snapshot” tab that gives you a quick look at any person that you are focused on. It will show you what account they are associated with, if there are opportunities in Salesforce that are associated with this individual, and you can also find activity.

Cirrus Insight Use Cases and Deployment ScopeBeing a small business, I wear a lot of hats, and any tool that can streamline activities and save me time at a reasonable cost is highly appreciated and valuable. In working with Cirrus Insight, I appreciate their forward-looking approach to their system as it has had small positive steps (syncing contacts and calendars) and huge leaps (templates integration, follow-up tasks/reminders and integration with custom objects) throughout my experience. What do you like best?They just make it easy for me to keep the wheels turning in the content machine. Creating a Blog wasn't something I wanted to tackle because of our existing CMS and back-end framework, but being able to host our Blog through Uberflip's platform has made our Blog a reality and it has been an awesome ride thus far. The Support is fantastic and you really feel like the team Uberflip cares about your success and will make it their goal to make sure you're happy. Uberflip has made some significant improvements to the Marketo integration as of late which has been great as well. With Uberflip's Flipbooks it's any wonder that companies are still using PDF files for their content assets.What do you dislike?It's hard to find things to dislike as their development team makes a consistent effort of listening to their clients and finding ways to improve the product. I know this because they've actually implemented at least 3 product updates that I've recommended. A challenge I have, and it's really greedy because you can do so much with Uberflip, is getting a little more granular control over the content's SEO factors. One of the things that makes Uberflip so easy (i.e. automatic URL generation and redirects from titles) can also be a challenge if you want to simplify the URL structure without impacting the asset's title... But I'm grasping at straws.Recommendations to others considering the productImplementing Uberflip is as easy as buying your IT administrator a coffee to get the CNAME record setup.What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you realized?The biggest business problem we had was to the ability to scale our content marketing operations. We're a small team and we each wear multiple hats so we needed something that would empower us to publish, evaluate, optimize, and promote our content in an easy way.
