  • Jazz is great!

Jazz Use Cases and Deployment ScopeI used Jazz at an advertising agency where I used to work. The entire organization (with offices in two separate cities) used the system. I believe that our recruiting process was streamlined very well with Jazz, as their workflow features allowed our managers to get their duties done much more quickly.

Pros : Workflow processCustomer Support/ServiceFunctionality of the systemEasy to use on the candidate side

Cons : I can't think of anything--I've used a few other ATS options and Jazz shines above them all.

The Resumator Gets the Job Done!

Jazz Use Cases and Deployment ScopeWe use The Resumator to post open job descriptions to our website and free job boards, accept inbound applications, screen resumes, message candidates, and track the hiring process for every department across the organization. It streamlines our entire hiring workflow and allows us to collaborate on evaluating and selecting candidates. Without The Resumator, we'd still be manually posting job openings, sorting resumes, and struggling to track applicants through the hiring process, which is made especially challenging given our globally distributed team.

Pros : Creating job descriptions and syndicating them to free job boards to attract inbound applicants.Simplifying the candidate screening process by organizing applicant information, resumes, interview notes and feedback, and more all in one place.Allowing teams to collaborate on candidate reviews and post comments for others to see.Mass messaging candidates.

Cons : Merging duplicate applicant profiles is difficult to do in bulk and weeding out spam or accidental / incomplete profiles can be time consuming. The Resumator allows applicants to apply via LinkedIn but doesn't pull in much social data (i.e. who are my shared connections with an applicant) or serve up data from other social accounts like Facebook, Twitter, etc.The mobile version of the site is almost impossible to use.I wish I could create interview notes templates for certain departments or posit

    The Resumator Review

Jazz Use Cases and Deployment ScopeThe Resumator is used as our applicant tracking system. Every open position is documented in The Resumator and every individual that applies is housed there. It is being used across the whole organization and it addresses our need to have a centralized application that houses all of our candidates.

Pros : Great user-interface.Ease of use and functionality. It's pretty robust in regards to what all it can house as far as information is concerned.

Cons : They seem to change their product and UI almost on a monthly basis, this gets a little agitating when I'm getting accustomed to the new interface. It should allow us to use a personalized signature - just like ours for our email accounts at work.

  • Solid basic ATS, many changes over the past year; some good, some bad

Our company has been using Jazz for over 2 years now. We like the basic functionality of the tool. It allows us to post jobs, rate candidates, and move people through our hiring process. While we would like the tool to do more, it has been clear that Jazz has been going through a lot of changes in the past year - new design, new author, new features. As a user it can feel like whiplash to go through so many changes. Eventually, I'm sure it will all shake out and be great, but week to week it's only average. Customer support has been very weak; again, probably a product of their fast growth.

Pros : Good basic organization for an ATS, for the price we are paying it's worth it.

Cons : Poor customer support and constantly changing features that are hard to learn on the fly; only so much time in the day to do my current job in addition to learning a new system or feature every few weeks.

    Jazzed about Jazz

I was the sole owner of our recruiting function at my company, and we were using Excel spreadsheets to manage all of the critical information that needs to be documented. We were referred to Jazz in the summer of 2015 and have been loving it ever since. It is easy to use, tracks just about anything you could ever want to report on, and is constantly making improvements. Jazz is local for us so the customer support they provided during the roll out was a combination of onsite and phone communication which was amazing. They are quick to assist and are always one step ahead of your question!

    Jazz Review

Over here at Tourico Holidays we use it daily and have been now for over a year and we love it. It makes our lives easier when dealing with a bulk amount of candidates. We love the built-in messaging system and how you're able to set up a template. The workflow also helps our staff stay organized and allows candidates to flow through the process easier.

  • Pretty good ATS for the money, very good for a large recruiting team

    What do you like best?

Able to use many different recruiters on the same platform. Price is inexpensive. Support is very responsive.

    What do you dislike?

Reports are tough to see the information we're looking for. Job posting through The Resumator is a bit clunky and performance on free boards is not as good as some other ATS's. Cannot change pre-set parts of the recruiting flow. Calendars can't scale to see if you have many different appointments scheduled.

What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you realized?

Get all of our recruiters on a single platform, reduced costs

    What do you like best?

robust sourcing tools enable users to post jobs quickly and accurately, mirror any internal approval process, and syndicate jobs to numerous free and paid job boards from one easy spot.

    What do you dislike?

The only thing that's not so easy is uploading resumes. Emailing or uploading resumes requires manual work to populate the right information such as name, email address, source, etc. If you have a lot of resumes to email or upload, it will take quite a bit of time to get the information into the system.

  • Ease-of-use

It's very easy to review resumes/assign tasks and file any candidate away with clear notes on how they progressed through the interview process.

    Functionality

It meets the needs for all of our hiring managers and myself.

    Product Quality

I think The Resumator is an excellent ATS, and they are always looking for ways to improve.

    Customer Support

There is always someone available when I have a question.

    Likes Best

I like how easy it is to use and collaborate with other managers.

    Likes Least

When attaching files to the message templates, I would like to see that there aren't any file restrictions for what type of attachments you can send to candidates.

    Recommendations

Determine if there is gmail/email integration and how easily hiring managers can use the software and include their notes.

The tool loads quickly and consistently performs glitch-free.

There's nothing not to like! It's a powerful tool. They have responsive customer support when needed, which is rarely. It fits our company's size and budget.

    Recommendations

You can get up and running fast, but dig in deeper to take advantage of more sophisticated features as the product frees up your time.

    Ease-of-use

Well, I had about one hour of training on the phone. Then I sent in a couple of questions by email; within the same week, I was totally comfortable and using the product to the max. I love it.

    Functionality

It tracks applicants precisely. I can find them by name, job, skills, location, etc.

It tracks sources. I can see where all my people come from, and where I should spend my money.

I can generate reports and stats, evaluate candidates, share those evaluations, share feedback, get people to submit feedback, and whatever else I need in the process.

I can design and customize workflows, application questions, etc. If a hiring manager or I move an applicant along a workflow, I can automatically generate information about that to a candidate, in whatever way I want to or not.

I have all the choices, and much less work using Resumator.

    Product Quality

Whoever designed Resumator must have done recruiting. I have no problems with this app, and neither do my hiring managers. When I have used much higher-priced products, I spent a long time training managers and answering questions. Frankly, it was a waste, because I had to repeat that training too often. The managers got disgusted and wouldn't use it.

    Customer Support

Every time I have either a question or a product suggestion, I hear from the team; they are not only willing but eager to help. I feel like they are always there for me, and know my name!

    Likes Best

The product is inexpensive, flexible, and easy to use. It's so easy, in fact, that I hardly have to train my hiring managers; they can figure it out. I have received nothing but positive feedback from everyone in the company, including the C-level. Resumator makes my life as a recruiter easy and saves so much time. The hiring managers love having everything in one place, and so accessible. The support group is absolutely terrific, and the training webinars were incredibly useful. They think up new and improved before I can even ask for anything! I can't say enough good things.

    Likes Least

I honestly can't think of a thing to complain about. I guess if you've never used a PC before, you might find it challenging to use. I wouldn't know about that.

    Recommendations

I have looked at every available product for ATS and HR use. Most are cumbersome and awkward. They require tons of training, and even then, they don't work well. Let me save you a lot of time: just get this one. The only reservation I might have is if you are a huge company, I don't know if this would work for you. But I do know that there's nothing better on the market.

  • I was extremely impressed with The Resumator as it aims to simplify your recruiting process but still provides you and your organisation with the necessary tools to get a great team together. The interface is very user-friendly and the range of features built-in are second to pretty much none. I loved the intense focus on collaboration between your team and this is even more beneficial when used in a large organisation, where communication between departments may be a little more difficult. The steep price tag as well may also discourage some smaller businesses for using it for hiring workers but for large organisations it can work wonders for the entire recruiting process.

  • The Resumator is a helpful tool for companies that are hiring new employees. The four membership plans are suitable for small to large size companies. The application provides many features that can significantly streamline the hiring process.

  • The Resumator is a very solid core product for job publishing, job promotion, effective sourcing, internal collaboration and clear reporting. It's straightforward, easy to use and doesn't require integration into your existing systems. You might not get a full website with CMS, a complete consulting firm or a Cyberdyne Systems Model 101 Terminator behind it. But from a value standpoint, it's still pretty far ahead.

  • What we liked:

-It’s a simple to use widget for job seekers and easy to implement into virtually any website
-The Resumator is a unique and useful service, especially if a company is able to direct all applications to the widget
-The free trial will let you know if it will be useful to you

    What we didn’t like:

-Customization of the resume engine is limited
-The Resumator cannot organize resumes captured through external sources
-Organization of skills could be better structured – as of now it still means scrolling through a resume or inputting an additional summary
    -Pro accounts are moderately expensive

  • For organizations that are looking for more granular data and metrics - or who aren't sure where their best candidates live and breathe - The Resumatordelivers the power of a much larger HR management system for a comparatively infinitesimal price.
