Facebook could be used for many different purposes: communicating with friends and acquaintances, receiving news and links to interesting materials. But often Facebook is used for business purposes (for contacting with the right people, storing examples of your work, career history and so on). In short, you can use Facebook page as your own resume. But it is preferable to have resume in the form of a single website containing all the information that may interest an employer or potential business partner. Strikingly is the online website builder that allows you to create a separate website based on the information from your Facebook profile. This site can include including work info, interests, photos, videos, and more. Thus, Strikingly can make such a website in literally one click. Just enter the username and password of your Facebook page and click on the relevant button. The result can be easily edited by adding and removing blocks, changing the information in them. Strikingly also creates a mobile version of the site optimized for tablets and smartphones. Moreover, the optimization concerns not only design but also functionality. So, a tap on a phone number opens the Phone app, and the tap on the map runs the Map app. But using the Facebook page is not the only option for site creation. It is possible to make the web page from scratch using the templates gallery. Here is the visual editor that helps to edit the background, to change the site structure, to add or remove the pages, to add the content, to add the pages description. Note that the majority of advanced features, e.g. own code insertion, SEO optimization, using the own domain, etc. are available only for the paid users.
Prestashop is absolutely a great solution if you want to create an online store or start on eCommerce, I've used it a few times for some stores, and it's easy to implement and use. It has a bunch of customizable options, and you don't need a deep understanding of programming or development to use it which is great. You can manage your templates and almost every important section of the platform, but it's limited if you are not planning to pay for a good template.
Here a couple of things that I think Prestashop is doing well:
Somethings I didn't like about Prestashop when I used it:

In the end, I think Strikingly is geared toward the business-minded person, as is evident in their templates. Whether you are looking for a site to promote yourself, a product, or just want to have a landing page, I would highly consider that you take a look at Strikingly. The ease of use, flexibility, and features, make it a solid option for quickly creating your own site, whether you’re a coder or not.More about Strikingly

PrestaShop is a platform that is overall cheap and extremely flexible IF you have the skills to manage it. After reviewing the PrestaShop platform, we believe it should be a top contender in your comparison and analysis of the best ecommerce platforms only if you have a good understanding of programming knowledge and skills.More about PrestaShop

I have three stores now with Prestashop, which I have been using for over six years. I would say that the older versions worked perfectly well and I had no problems. I would have given 5 stars in all areas. (I am talking version 188.8.131.52 or thereabouts) Unwittingly "upgrading" to the latest versions, I'm now on 184.108.40.206, has rendered Prestashop almost unworkable. It only works now for me thanks to the brilliant paid add-on Store Manager. My two sites with fewer products - 20 and 1200 respectively, work fine still. My main site, which is my main source of income has 4,500 products. I cannot edit or save products (which is where Store Manager comes in). The search indexing does not work. CSV product import will not work. Database backups always time out. There are frequent errors with Payment gateways. Every recommended update usually causes new problems. All this despite the fact that I am using the default template and have made no code changes. Support is absolutely zero. My problems have been well discussed on the forums for over two years and are common. The programmers do nothing. I am not a programmer. I have spent over $2000 on programming help over the last two years just to keep my site running - and Prestashop is supposed to be "Open Source" and free. I would highly recommend Prestashop if you have few products, but I would say that if you start to go over 2000 then in my experience it simply does not work. The programmers are too busy making add ons which they make money on, than getting the basic shell to work. Transferring to another cart now would be a nightmare, largely because of the huge number of product photos, I think about 30,000 now.More about PrestaShop
