  • team viewer helped me stay connected with my children I can spy on to them too, by getting into their computers. I can join them watching movies even from miles away. I can also fix threats and they can join my computer too. I can share files, drag and drop interface made it quicker. we can talk through audio. this is one of the most communication recommended the app. its very good to use.

Pros : share files. audio talks. user friendly.

Cons : none as far as i know

  • TeamViewer Use Cases and Deployment ScopeI used TeamViewer in a Mac environment to help with the remote support and administration of systems locally at the office and remotely across the world. Because I was the only IT support personnel I was the sole individual to leverage the program's full capabilities of remote access, file transfer and unattended access. These features greatly helped me to easily and reliably troubleshoot end user workstations with very little administrative effort.

Pros : Setting up remote unattended access for future use is a huge help as it allows users to leave their computers on after they are done working so I can remote in without requiring the user to approve the connection. This allows the user to go on about their lives without needing to be tied to their desk waiting for assistance. The window scaling is done very elegantly and works very well when connecting to computers with varying display resolutions. The mobile experience is also done very well where

Cons : A disadvantage I would say has to be the cost. TeamViewer is not cheap and deciding which tier should be purchased sometimes comes back to haunt you. When purchasing it becomes one of those "Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it" situations.Often times if you leave a remote support connection active for too long it will automatically close the connection since TeamViewer thinks the session went dormant. This is good as it saved unnecessarily used bandwidth but annoying i

  • TeamViewer is my favorite free remote access program. It's filled with features you don't normally find in similar products, is very easy to use, and works on pretty much any device.

Teamviewer is a convenient tool for accessing someone else's computer, your own separate computers or just view another's screen. Many times if you're trying to see someone's screen it can be a bit cumbersome as you would have to annoyingly launch a full on web collaboration tools like Adobe, or GoToMeeting, but with TeamViewer you're able to simply access another's computer or simply view it on the fly. It is very fast and functions well.

    Pros :

    • There are many applications of the TeamViewer software, one of which has been a lifesaver as I work from home often. I can access my work computer and actually work on it from home using the TeamViewer software.
    • If functions seamlessly and with hardly any lag.andnbsp;
    • I am able to switch to multiple different monitors and access complex software applications.
    • The view also shows correct colors for most things whereas other screen sharing tools will really dumb down complex graphics in order to speed up the user experience.andnbsp;
    • Since TeamViewer is specifically designed for screen sharing, this isn't particularly an issue.
    • Teamviewer also provides a great way to simply show someone your screen and can be really convenient for situations where someone else may need to "drive" or take control.
    • One application that we have used in particular is with our outsourced IT team, allowing them to not just walk us through the steps needed for specific tasks but take over and actually do what needs to be done, removing some of the potential frustration that can accompany IT help.andnbsp;

    Cons :

    • Teamviewer many times will log me out and in spite of pre-authorizing my machine, will not connect.
    • I will sometimes have to have help to give me the new password to access a machine that I should already be able to control. This can be somewhat vexing when you are already remote.andnbsp;

Team Viewer is a very useful tool for Service Desk or 1st level support. But also, it is an interesting tool for online conferences. It is a very reliable tool, Just providing a number and password to an agent is enough to make the connection. It is pretty easy to setup, with just doing some steps you can have the tool installed One of the most distinguished characteristics I found out is lag time. Lag time is very low, and that makes the interaction between user and Service Desk agent pretty fluent. I was able to demonstrate that with the use of this tool, the time of Service Desk calls reduced drastically.

A nice feature this tool has is that you can access your PC from a mobile device, you can access your PC from your cell phone, that's amazing. I also used Teamviewer for Shadowing and training sessions for IT Transitions. It was a very good tool to show the new onboard employee how to perform specific tasks.

I also used other software similar to this one, like LogMeIn and ScreenConnect, but this one was the most friendly in all aspects. andnbsp; The only negative points I see in this tool is that the program doesn't use IP and that it doesn't allow PC Blocking; and also setting up some security settings might be hard at some point in time, especifically if you are working under a client's network. Some filtering and special configuration could be done on the network to ensure the connection is established properly.

I used several tools to manage Service Desk, but I can say that TeamViewer is the best solution I have used. Please don't hesitate in contacting me if you have any questions or concerns about the use of this software.

    Pros :

    • Reliability and Ease of use are pros for this tool.

    Cons :

    • Some users mess up when they have to provide code and password to the Service Desk Agent or Technician.
    • They feel unsecure.

TeamViewer is an excellent communication software, which allows instant transfer and sharing of files. Not only that, but features like, desktop sharing, audio call, and recording the call too. A user offer thinks what are the features that make TeamViewer stand out from Skype? Well, here I know how to answer is. Skype is really good, and an old communication software, but often the signal on skype crashes down. Whereas in TeamViewer, extremely not accessible device connected to the internet get strong signals. TeamViewer can be used to spy others. Many company owners connect computers in the offices to the master computer, to keep record of the files and the data shared.. since TeamViewer allows recording too. Many computers are 24/7 are under observation. Mostly used for the employees who are new to the company, or are under suspicion.

TeamViewer controlling other computer ability can be used in another way too such as, if a computer is disturbed by a virus or malware, and you need urgent repair then through TeamViewer an expert can connect his device to yours and fix the device instantly. Sometimes desktop sharing can be really disturbing and confusing, so you have audio call availability so the expert can instruct you and you can do as instructed.

    Pros :

    • TeamViewer is a free remote access tool. allows devices to get remotely connected.
    • It allows too devices to get connected to each other, where the other device can control the other device connected.
    • It works nearly on every device.
    • Installation is very easy.
    • The subscription is free
    • Easy to navigate.
    • Can fix complex troubles in a user device.

    Cons :

    • Sometimes using TeamViewer can be quite risky,
    • Features in PC are certainly easy to use, whereas in Mac they are pretty confusing.
    • It's not free for commercial use.

TeamViewer is one of the amazing free software for remote control of computers. It is a program that allows you to control the computer remotely and receive remote assistance via the Internet. It is completely in Italian and is distinguished from other similar solutions for the extreme ease of use.
TeamViewer is always the point of reference for the management of remote devices. It is convenient to provide remote support and manage multiple remote machines to perform maintenance.

The connection speed is typically reliable and unlikely to occur disconnections. The only information you need to connect is ID and password.
Once installed you do not need to configure ports on the firewall, you establish a connection with TeamViewer server that connects to the target PC.

TeamViewer is a software that provides a connection between two clients in a safe way. I use it every day to provide assistance to my customers. The free version is to be used for short connections. If you want, a solution for companies must be purchased the paid version.

    Pros :

    • The software is available for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and all major platforms of the mobile world: Android, iOS and Windows. This means you can use it directly from your smartphone or your tablet to control your own computer remotely or provide remote assistance to other people.
    • You can also communicate with the person who is on the other side of the screen by selecting one of the functions available in the menu Audio / Video: you can set up a text chat by clicking on the voice chat, voice chat by clicking on Start audio or start a video call by selecting the Video option.

    Cons :

    • There are no major cons, the only bad thing about this software is the cost of the license. That for a home or small business use can be a problem.andnbsp;

Great tool for anyone that has multiple devices or is constantly on the move. Easy to use. Easy to install. Free version and paid version. The iPad app is great when you don't want to carry a laptop or anything with you. You can open it up and work on your desktop computer with everything you need. Also, if you have an old slow computer, you can just log in remotely to your better performing computer and work off that.

    Pros :

    • Simple program to gain remote access.
    • Works on most Apple devices, Android, and PCs. Allows file transfers between computers as well.
    • The paid version can be used for working remotely, or accessing another computer to do a screens share.
    • For personal use, it's great to remotely access a family members' computer to help them out remotely, or just to access your computer from anywhere.
    • Comes in handy when you have older family members that aren't very tech savvy.
    • Just install TeamViewer and if they have a problem with their computer you can log in remotely and help them out.
    • eamViewer supports dual screens as well to maximize performance. The Android app works well also.
    • Easy to access your computer from your phone if you need to in a pinch.
    • Obviously, accessing a desktop computer via a smart phone has some draw backs do to the difference s in screen size, but it is easy to navigate.
    • There is also a chat feature in case more than one person logs into a computer, or if you want to chat with someone physically on the computer at the time.

    Cons :

    • My older model MacBook, which has an older operating system on it, does not install the newest version of TeamViewer.
    • Every time I download version 11 or whatever the newest version is, it still installs version 9.
    • Then my other computer has the newest version so it prevents me from accessing the newer version from the old version.andnbsp;

TeamViewer has been pretty much the go to software after LogMeIn, in my opinion, started it all offering a FREE remote management / troubleshooting software solution with many different paid options for businesses as well. Once LogMeIn removed it's free plans and didn't come even close to offering an affordable solution - enter TeamViewer stage left. TeamViewer had actually been around for a while during LogMeIn's reign, and (as it turns out,) offered superior features in comparison within its free license. Not to mention the performance was much higher over lower bandwidth situations.

Fast forward to now. They are beginning to follow the same trail as LMI did in that their newest version is still free but comes with a countdown timer, showing the beginning of more restrictions. Their software also isn't very intelligent when it comes to using a paid account and a free account on the same computer - as I have an account through the company the I work for in which I use it for company things now and again on the same computer that I use primarily for my free account for personal computers and it will start yelling at me with pop-ups saying 'Suspected Business Use Detected'. Two completely separate accounts, signed in separately, accessing separate computers. This also wasn't an issue in previous versions.

As for the paid version, license prices are decently steep, and your license is per version of the software. If you purchased during version 10 - you get all of the updates within version 10, but you cannot use Version 11 unless you purchase all new licenses. This is a semi-common practice among some software but in my opinion is rarely a good practice but more of a way to gouge money from your clients who are already paying a pretty decent amount.

    Pros :

    • High performance even in low bandwidth situations.
    • Free License.
    • Good feature set in free license including file transfers, computer sounds and remote printer sharing.
    • Low impact on both the Host and Remote computers.
    • Simple unattended access client for business accounts to allow remote in only access.

    Cons :

    • Cost is somewhat high and doesn't include upgrades to newest versions.
    • Free version is starting to experience more limitations.

I have used Team Viewer for 3 years so far, and I've never been disappointed thanks to its efficiency and its usefulness.I have recommended TeamViewer to all of my friends, colleagues and family, because it's a great software: for example, you can share your display during work presentations, or also for personal assistance on your device.

It's very fast, and a very positive fact is that it's free for personal use. It's a perfect software because it works excellent for every OS and it doesn't weigh down your computer when you use it.

I use TeamViewer both for work and assistance. I always get satisfied with it because it's the fastest and in a bunch of minutes I solve my problems with my technician.
The most important thing, for me, is that I use it for my presentations to my customers. If we stay in the other side of the world, we have just to connect our computers, and then we work together in the easiest way!

So what I can say is that if you want something fast for assistance or for work meetings, or presentations as well, you can try TeamViewer, I am totally sure you will fall in love with it.

    Pros :

    • It is realyy easy to install, and you can use it instantly without any tutorial, just because it's very easy and intuitive to use.
    • You can use TeamViewer for audio calls, video conferencing, meetings, screen share, etc.
    • This software also works for laptops, mobile and all of your different devices.
    • You can also use the text and voice chat, it's very useful if you want to communicate with the other side.

    Cons :

    • Sometimes, popup can be a little annoying, mostly, for example, when you have work presentations. For the rest, I think I can say I have never been disappointed by this software so far.

TeamViewer is a great tool that allows users to share their screen and collaborate or troubleshoot issues on a remote users' computer. It does not require any setup on a user's router or firewall and is a quick install for the end user. I have used it to troubleshoot issues for friends and also to remotely manage my own computers. It works great for collaborating on a single document with the chat tools and voice chat, everyone can put in their input while keeping just one single copy of the document. It also supports a whiteboard for drawing up quick ideas.

The performance is very good, and it will adjust for bandwidth so the faster the connection, the better the quality. It can also be used to work remotely, you can install it on your office computer and then remote into it via TeamViewer and work from any location on any supported device. It has support for voice and text chat, troubleshooting tools, and it will notify if you reboot a PC when it is back online and available.

It is very secure, TeamViewer utilizes RSA 2048 public/private key exchange, AES (256 bit) session encryption end to end, random passwords for one-time access, optional two-factor authentication, and access controls via black- and whitelists. This means that your connections are secure and encrypted.

TeamViewer 11 is designed to run on a broad spectrum of operating systems ranging from the state of the art, such as Chrome OS, Windows 10, iOS 9, Android Marshmallow, and Mac OS X El Capitan, to older operating systems such as Windows XP. I use it almost every day on a PC, iPad, and sometimes even my iPhone.

I really think it is a great product and useful for many different situations. It's free for non-commercial use and affordable for business use.

    Pros :

    • Easy to install. High-performance.
    • Secure.
    • Saving of devices in a list so you can get back to them.
    • No router or firewall configuration needed.
    • Collaboration tools.
    • Voice Chat.
    • Text Chat.
    • Troubleshooting tools.

    Cons :

    • None.

I very much used this software in my previous work experience, according to the various customers that we had, alternated this software with its direct competitor. In my opinion, TeamViewer is one of the best free software useful for easily perform remote control of computers. Through its use, you can interact directly on the computer without giving remote support so the need to move from the office.

    Pros :

    • For Italian people like me, the Italian version is well done and does not require special skills to use it.
    • Configuration and setup are simple and immediate. To access the remote computer, you simply have to enter an ID and password, and you are immediately inside the PC to control.
    • For what is my experience I have always used it in Windows environments, but is also available for Linux, Android, Mac, Windows Mobile and iOS.
    • The software must be downloaded (free of charge) on the source computer (the one where you want to support) and also on the target computers.
    • To start will interact on the PC (unlike some of the most studied software for companies and for private) you can not interact with the PC to be controlled remotely without it being in position and without him give us your consent to proceed.
    • Both will, therefore, need to be aware of the password to be entered, the password will be generated from the PC so that you need help, and he will have to tell us the password. Without this, we will not be able to interact with the PC. During this period the user does not have to interact with the mouse and keyboard, meanwhile, will see the operations that we are carrying out just watching the monitor.

    Cons :

    • Although it has never been necessary, the mobile versions thus allow to use it directly from your smartphone or your tablet, though it must be said that this function has big limitations as your smartphone screen (but the tablet does not help) slows down a lot the operations.
    • A good network connection is more necessary than ever to avoid lag during operations.

One of the best in class computer software package meant to meet all the needs that are required to create the network of the remote desktop and the network of web sharing and desktop sharing more and more easier along with at ease for the users. Transferring of files had never been easier for me for devices with whom I am not in physical contact with. This had helped me to synchronize my work and control and access my desktop of my office even when I am on the site, it has given me an extra outrageous advantage over sharing of files and running machines that has a web browser with TeamViewer I'd opened.

The availability of the software on all the platforms available in day to day life has proven out to be more fruitful for a user to control all the work over the cloud and over the hard drive of the systems. Windows, Mac, Android and all the other known platforms are available for this software.

    Pros :

    • The basic features that are provided by the TeamViewer are completely free to use, and a very user-friendly interface is available.
    • The options available for further enhancing the user journey is the supporting chat feature that enables one to text, video and voice chat.
    • The extra technological feature enhancing the software to provide you a remote printing experience that has allowed me to give commands for printing even I am not present over the place.
    • onsidering the technical aspect of the software it supports WOL and no port forwarding systems are required.
    • One of the best features availed through this the ability to control a remote computer through the desktop internet browser.
    • I don’t need to send in technicians for clearing and solving the problems of my clients but rather manage all of them via TeamViewer.

    Cons :

    • The free version of the software is not available for commercial settings, and the premium packages that are available for purchasing purposes are not that orderly priced and over they are not beneficial for small businesses.
    • Issue related to the licensing was faced while changing the versions of the product
    • An individual needs to renew their license over the change of version.
