Based on my experience using it over the last few months I can conclude that it is easy to use, very focused tool for sales. The ability to see immediately the next action is genius! It keeps you really focused. It's very cost effective - especially compared to some of the larger CRM systems out there. Love it and I recommend it.

Pros : Simple to use, great features, relevant CRM software

Cons : None, it does the job perfectly for me.

This is an excellent value Customer Relationship Management tool, previously we used Sugar (CRM) however this was very costly was just too big for us. We just wanted a simple to use CRM that would allow us to track and move customers through the pipeline.andnbsp; This tool allows us to see what stage the lead or customer is and the potential value of the deal. As an administrator, I can quickly see which salesperson is actively using and updating and who is lagging behind. The system is really easy to use and is adaptable to allow us to change titles, deal stages, etc.

Pros :

  • Very easy to use, we were up and running within a couple of hours.
  • Pipeline is on the cloud so can be accessed anytime and anywhere.
  • You only need to buy individual licences.
  • We like the fact that you can just add on new people as and when you need them.
  • They also offer a discounted costs for signing up for a yearly plan.
  • The site allows the admin team to quickly see who is active on the site.
  • We also have access to all the calendars of the team to see what they are doing at all times.
  • I can also monitor the amount of emails and phone calls being made and logged on the site.
  • Being able to see the value of possible deals allows me to be able to forecast the finance figures for the next few months and throughout the rest of the year.
  • It is that easy to use my MD has also embraced it and he has asked me to monitor him in the same way as the rest of the team.

Cons :

  • The only downside for us, is not being able to integrate for free with our help desk.
  • We understand there is an app that can be used however this is an additional cost each month.
  • We also find that the link between our emails and pipeline drops out a lot.andnbsp; andnbsp; andnbsp;

One would never need to update your address book by copying the information from email signatures. Evercontact is a service that helps keep your mail contacts (Gmail contacts, Outlook contacts, Office365 contacts and Outlook contacts) and your CRM contacts (Connectwise, Salesforce and Highrise) always updated by mining your email accounts to create and update contacts. It simply takes out the pain of manually trying to find updated contacts or digging into the mail archives to find the contact of a person who emailed you once. Evercontact works in the background and will never erase your existing contacts.

Pros : Evercontact works even retroactively. It offers a Flashback feature which can scan up to 5 year old mails and can create or update the contact list. It gives you full control on the changes made to your contact list. You can chose to manually confirm or reject the changes suggested or go for completely automated option. You can even chose to receive the updates daily, weekly or monthly. It saves a lot of time and no contact is ever lost. A chrome plugin if also on offering which can let you save contact details from any web page in the browser and directly save it to the address book. The plugin is automatically able to identify which information is of what type and then updates the correct field with the correct information in the address book.For business users, keeping all contacts intact and updated is very important especially in sales dominated organizations. Also, in case of people moving out of your organizations, lots of important contacts go away with that person. With Evercontact, one cane always keeps on scanning the emails so that no contact is ever lost.

Cons : Evercontact scans the email for contact information in the email signatures which means that all the emails are accessed by the Evernote. Although Evernote claims that only an automated computer program does all the process and the email copy is deleted after the contact information has been extracted, it is hard to trust when your life runs on your email account. There have been instances of companies claims of deleting user information have been found false.

    Our company uses Pipedrive, and we are about to make the switch to Salesforce. Pipedrive was fine when we were a small start-up, but now as we change methods there are lots of changes that we want to make to PD, and the lack of features and accessibility makes it hard to make lots of large changes easily. Instead, we have to individually go in and spend hours fixing details of different leads. It doesn't help either that it's hard to reach customer service and get on the phone with them.

    Pros :

    • Looks nice.
    • Easy to collaborate.

    Cons :

    • Unorganized structure.
    • Hard to reach customer support for help.

    The bottom line about Pipeline Deals is that if you’re looking for a very affordable, attractive, and reasonably powerful sales CRM platform, Pipeline may do the trick. With the 30-day trial offer, it’s worth setting up an account and trying it out with a few test accounts. They’re constantly making updates to the platform, so keep an eye open on their blog and customer updates to see how they evolve over time. However, if you’re handling large volumes of customer leadsandprospects and don’t have sales people to actually get to those people, Pipeline may just not be the right tool for your needs.
