  • #1 sales CRM hands down !

    As a Professional Business Technology Consultant for over 15 years, I've created, integrated and supported CRM Apps in verticals including but not limited to: Legal, Real Estate and Renewable Energy projects. Throughout my professional tenure I've not only written code but have had the experience of collaborating with EVERY SINGLE professional CRM applications on the market. My conclusion, Base CRM is THE answer to streamlining your sales & marketing processes and cycle.

    Pros : SIMPLICITY SELLS! This is the genius behind Base CRM.

    Cons : None that I've ever experienced in 3-4 years.

    Great UX design

    I picked Base for two reasons: a) it looked and felt nice b) it handled VoIP calls very well

    Pros : VoIP calling is fantastic with great reports.

    Cons : It doesn't sync social very well The in app email system could be better

    Super for mobility

    Base CRM has the best mobile apps seamless integrations with phonecalls, emails. Best feautures are Contactclipper, Outlook plugin, gmail support and superb integrations with other webbased apps. like Zapier, mailchimp and so on. Premium plans with full data reports give salesmanagers totalt controll of salesteams. Why not 5 stars? It´?¢s not a full SocialCRM, and currently not supporting multiple pipelines (coming feature though)

  • Base CRM has great potential. What they get right, they get really right. The best way I can think to put it is that I believe in the company, but I’m not sold on the product. Yet.

  • All in all, Base CRM is a helpful and easy to use mobile CRM solution. I haven't touched on every feature in this review, plus capabilities are being enhanced on an almost constant basis due to the nature of the application. With a 14-day free trial, Base CRM is definitely worth checking out.

  • The app is as good as the dektop

    What do you like best?

    BASE is super intuitive. Out of the box (so to speak) you get 90% of its promised functionality without additional set-up. What I like even better is the intuitive screen design. You don't have to 'hunt' for the information you need. You can control the app with one finger if you need to look things up while you're sipping coffee at Starbucks ;-)

    What do you dislike?

    There's nothing I don't like. BASE lets you input full contact details from LinkedIn records (if you install their browser widget). That's really helping me save time with data entry and stay more up-to-date with prospects, clients, and vendors through social media. I wish BASE would scrape contact info from an email. That would save even more admin time!

    Recommendations to others considering the product

    Do the trial, bring over some data, call tech support (even if you don't need it) so they can run you through the nice-to-have features that are best set up before you load your data. Tags are very important (and powerful) in BASE. Think them through very carefully. Consistency is king with you're trying to find things!

    What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you realized?

    Tracking contacts, building mailing lists (you can set BASE up with MailChimp to automatically transfer new contacts), tracking deals, doing win/loss analysis, and knowing the next most important thing to do. BASE has put 4-5 hours a week back into my calendar (I was on SalesForce before this) because of its intuitive interface.

    Fantastic CRM for People on the Go!

    What do you like best?

    The mobile features are the best I've experienced and seen in all of the CRMs I've sampled or used. I also like the integration with Google Apps. Overall, this CRM is just easy to use. I love the continual updates Base brings too. They are quick to develop new and useful updates!

    What do you dislike?

    The document storage is ok but has room for improvement. I also think reporting is good but not great. The lack of project management features is something that is needed in any CRM as well.

    Recommendations to others considering the product

    Like any CRM, you must devote yourself to understanding the product and what it can do for your business. Second, you have to commit to using it daily. If you can stick with it, you'll be VERY happy with Base CRM. It is one of the only CRMs I know that creates simple updates often. So they listen to our feedback and make Base better!

    I love the fact that I know what is going on in my business. There is no guessing anymore! Base keeps me far more organized than ever before.

  • Base CRM is your simple and easy to use CRM. I think by not having too many features, it will make some of you very happy and have less frustrations. I’d like to see Google Apps have more plugins and keep the CRM simple.

  • The ease-of-use and simplicity of the system stand in Base’s favour as a no frills CRM offering. The casual comments throughout the application make it that much more user-friendly. If your sales process is more complex and protracted, and demands more of a project management approach, Base would not be that suitable, however.
