There are a lot of screencast tools for Windows. Mac users have fewer options than other Operating Systems users. ScreenFlow is one of them. This software offers sound recording from microphone or built-in camera along with the screen video. This feature is very convenient because while recording you can immediately give comments. It clearly simplifies the process and eliminates the need for video editing. However, if necessary, the finished video can be edited. ScreenFlow offers a built-in editor with the timeline interface. One can rearrange clips on the timeline, to cut them and set the clips priority. By dragging the mark in the center of the screen, it is possible to rotate the video. When working with video, it is also possible to set the "approaching" on the screen and the brightness. One can crop the picture around the edges, add reflections, adjust color balance, add filters, change the output level of sound and apply audio effects, add annotations and text to the video. Also, the user can make a visual display of mouse clicks and increase the cursor, which is very useful while creating video tutorials. ScreenFlow also offers to dim the entire screen except the place on which the mouse is induced. The video could be uploaded to YouTube or other video sharing services. It is also possible to save the video on one of many supported formats. All settings could be configured manually. It's great that ScreenFlow allows to export a few uncompressed formats. So it is possible to use the external encoder to fine-tune the output format.
Magix Video Pro is a very good product sold by Magix. With this product Magix Video Pro joins the many professional products for video editing. The product can be purchased directly from the website, and you can download the evaluation version with the validity of 30 days. Pros:
A slide show with photos is a great way to preserve the memories of major family events. Using DVD Slideshow Builder you will be able to locate pictures in the proper order, to add the comments to each of them, to provide the music for a project and to burn it to DVD. The work with DVD Slideshow Builder is divided into several stages: creating the slideshow, adding a menu to DVD, previewing the menu and the slideshow and finally burning to disc. Each phase is represented in the program window as a tab so you can view the slideshow at any stage of its creation or, for example, to go burning not adding the menu (if you don't need it). Interface for slide show creation is quite convenient and flexible. The user can select one of display modes of the project: Storyboard or Timeline. In the first case, each photo or video (that can also be added to the project) is represented as a rectangle with a thumbnail snapshot. It includes the info about the time during which it will be played. Rectangles of smaller size placed between the photos represent the transition effects. Clicking on this rectangle will lead to opening the new window with the effect settings. Here one can change the duration and select the effect type. By the way, in this window you can change the duration of all transition effects in the project. On one DVD, you can burn more than a thousand photos, so it's possible that after making a slideshow there will be still quite a lot of space. If you use DVD Slideshow Builder, it won't be lost because the program can create several independent slide shows within a single disk. In this case, links to each project will be placed in the disc menu.

In the end, if you have the money to spare towards such an excellant product, I would highly suggest it. ScreenFlow is no doubt the best screen recording software I've ever used. It's stable, fast, efferent when it comes to data usage, and just such a great design overall. Those are the reasons why every Mac user should own this application.More about ScreenFlow

In short, Wondershare are offering some tremendous opportunities to be creative, the deluxe version of this software is possibly the only tool you could need to create slideshows that make the memories that matter to you last a lifetime. Not only that, but the price is well below what you would expect to pay for software of this quality (and with this many features).More about Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder

Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder Deluxe targets beginners who want to create nice-looking slideshows with minimal effort. Although it tries to be an all-in-one solution, it lacks the video editing options that are indispensable for making great presentations. Besides, it's quite expensive.More about Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder
