This is a good file sharing sites just a little bit old style, but it does its works. Once you're connected, you have two possible actions, uploading your files via the Add Files button, or uploading a folder using the Add Folder button. You can also upload your file by simply drag and drop the files from the cleared area.

    Pros :

    • Like all sites that offer this type of service it offers different types of accounts, following the main features:
      • Free Account: you can load a total of 30MB, the file can not be downloaded more than 5 times, the durability of the file is 5 days.
      • Awesome Account $ 8 per month: 3 users include in the price, upload limit of 20GB per file, 100GB of total storage, has no file limits durability (no expire), 100 downloads per file, history transfers.
      • Awesome Account $ 19 per month: as the Awesome account but provides 200GB of total storage, 250 downloads per file, 1 Widget for Websites.
      • Account Amazing $ 45 a month: as the Awesome account but provides 5 widgets for Websites, 1000 downloads per file, 1 TB of total storage.
    • The site provides (for registered users) some useful feature such as password protection of files, notification once the file is downloaded, sending to multiple recipients, etc.
    • It provides Widgets for Premium account so comfortable if you have a site on which you want to integrate.
    • Some basics characteristics (such as Send email from me for example) are only available to registered attempts.

    Cons :

    • Some basics characteristics (such as Send email from me for example) are only available to registered attempts.
    • The Upload file limit for users who are not registered is too low, especially when compared with its competitors sites.
    • Once the file is uploaded on the site, the Transfer will expire in only five days, a bit too little. Functions.
    • The site is very minimal, a bit too old style, it is true that the graphics in this case is not important but the aesthetical look is always of primary major importance.

One always encounters situation in day to day life wherein one wants to send big size files to his/her friend or colleague. Most of the emails have a limitation on how much file size can be sent through. Here is where Transfer Big Files comes into picture. One can send up to 20Gb of File for free.

    Pros :

    • To send the file, the process is quite simple. One needs to simply add the files and folder to the files panel. The files would then get uploaded to the secure server of Transfer Big Files.
    • Uploading would take time based on the bandwidth and speed of your internet connections. After uploading, new transfer page would be created. This also has a provision for Custom branding, wherein one can customize the email templates which would be sent across to the customer and download pages can also be customized to have the company's image in place.
    • One can also send HD Videos from the tablet, iPad or phones.
    • One can also use the space as a personal cloud storage space and store data that is widely used.
    • Once your file is uploaded in the cloud, they stay there until you decide to expire them. So one can access the file anytime without the need to upload them again.
    • System sends notification when the recipients have downloaded the files. One can also manage accounts and create users here. The users added will have access to sharing and sending files.
    • There are different set of access which can be given to the newly created user.

    Cons :

    • If the file size is huge say over 10 GB, there is a possibility of the data connection breaking through in the middle. In such case, the entire upload has to be restarted again, which is cumbersome and painful in redoing all over again.

TransferBigFiles is one of the many file transfer services available on the internet. There is a huge amount of competition, including services such as WeTransfer, SendThisFile, DropSend, and, of course, the numerous cloud-based solutions available such as Box.net, Google Drive and Dropbox. The choice of which service to use is mainly based on user preference, although TransferBigFiles does not have many features that set it apart from competitors, although it does get the job done. One feature that does allow TransferBigFiles to stand out from amongst its competitors, however, is that premium plans allow for a maximum file upload size of 20GB. That is quite a substantial amount for a single file and is more than many of its competitors. The downside to this is that the free plan only supports files of up to 100MB in size. This was reduced by quite a bit, as TransferBigFiles originally allowed for free uploads of 1GB individual file size. 100MB is a very low amount for a free plan, and services such as WeTransfer and others easily beat this on their free accounts. As standard, files can be password protected, which is what most users have come to expect from services like this nowadays. While the points mentioned above (aside from the low maximum file upload size) provide a good enough reason to make use of TransferBigFiles, there have unfortunately been a lot of upload issues in my experience. I have tried uploading files on numerous occasions, only to be greeted with static Progress bars for file uploads, which do not seem to update accurately, as well as lost connection issues. There have been instances where I left files uploading for around an hour, only to end in an unexpected error, which provides absolutely no useful information whatsoever. There have also been successful file uploads, and no pattern as such - the service works at times and fails at other times. These stability issues may, therefore, be cause to look elsewhere.

    Pros :

    • No account is required, unlike SendThisFile.
    • Multiple recipients can be specified.
    • Files can be password protected.
    • Maximum file size for premium plans is 20GB.

    Cons :

    • Free plan only has a 100MB file size limit, unlike SendThisFile.
    • Google Drive is cheaper and provides more storage space.
    • File uploader is buggy and often requires several attempts to upload a file, due to connection issues.
