I discovered Google Analytics when I made a Redbubble account and started uploading my work. I wanted to keep track of how many visitors my page had, saw my content, know which of those contents was the most popular.. overall statistics about my page and how to manage it.I found this platform to be very user-friendly and tried it with my portfolio, it was the best decision I've made. I can now see how many people come to my site, what they do when they're there, how much time they spend on a tab and which of my posts are more popular.

Google Analytics is a free service and is arguably one of the most powerful tools you'll ever use in order to develop your website. It links with all of your other Google account information allowing you to access everything from a single connection. The charts are appealing and the information is greatly accurate. Since bots can appear seemingly random, it's a welcome change to not have to include those inorganic numbers if you are trying to gauge your site's popularity.More about Google Analytics

Overall, I like the Hitslink system mainly because there is no time-consuming program that needs to run in order to analyze log files. (In fact no log files are even needed to use the system.) It's very easy to just quickly set up and begin using it. All you do is add a bit of code to your pages that they supply you with and that's it. It could not be simpler.More about Hitslink

Google Analytics offers users an amazing amount of data about their website visitors. Primarily geared toward e-commerce, some of the functionality of Google Analytics isn’t relevant to libraries. More importantly, the data is given without context, allowing users to see how website visitors are behaving but not why. In light of this, Google Analytics is most powerful as a tool for gathering information to complement and inform other library assessment efforts.More about Google Analytics

A lot of users have proven that the program is a huge success in e-commerce. The program basically monitors the visitors or viewers of a site allowing the user to find out which of his or her advertising campaigns are properly working and bringing in the dollars and which needs improvement. However, Google analytics now offers the same kind of information with no charge making HitsLink look like an unnecessary business expense. Still, it is advisable for Internet marketers to check with more than one analytic tool to know which one can meet their needs best.More about Hitslink
