Strategic Internet Consulting have been using Oktopost for around six months to support social media activity in our Inbound campaigns. More comprehensive than simple scheduling tools, it was the social advocacy board that first drew us to the tool, plus HubSpot integration, and detailed reporting on social conversion. As an agency user, we're now Silver Oktopost Partners.
Pros : - Advocacy board. Any content that is sent via main business profiles appears on a unique user board for everyone in the company to promote via their own work accounts, increasing reach and engagement. - HubSpot integration and detailed conversion tracking to better assess social effectiveness - Autoposting features and bulk upload options for faster social message creation and scheduling (across all social platforms, not just twitter) - Feedly integration to make sharing industry content easy -
Cons : In the future we'd like to see more segmentation on the leaderboard - by social campaign if possible, as not everyone in the business needs to post on all topics. Having the chrome app pull through images when sharing to twitter would be useful too, but not too big an issue! A paid ads integration might be asking a lot but would be interesting to see.

Oktopost is a great tool for managing your social presence. It helps you in numerous ways: discovering relevant content, monitoring social media, posting of content, etc. Easy to use and with lots of reporting, oktopost is an invaluable tool for any company that takes social media serious.
Pros : - ease of use - message assets - scheduling - content discovery
Cons : Nothing much. The fact that Facebook and linkedIn have taken away the possibility to post in groups is a bummer.

While a little pricier than some of it's competitors, it's worth it.
Pros : Campaign management, scheduling and content library/duplication are all fantastic.
Cons : Higher priced than other solutions.

Oktopost Use Cases and Deployment ScopeWe're using Oktopost to manage client's social profiles, to tweet, retweet, share updates on LinkedIn groups and client's personal and company accounts and Facebook. It's used by our social media strategist and account managers.
Pros : Create different campaigns.Easily schedule across all networks, including LI groups.Analyze content by campaign/social network/LI groups.Calendar view by campaign or all, which give us a good view of the work we're doing that month."Content" feature helps you find very relevant content and easily share it on any social profile.
Cons : The main campaign overview is downloadable to PDF, but the reports by campaign is only downloadable as an excel file, would love that to change.

Oktopost Use Cases and Deployment ScopeOktopost has made our social media program execution possible utilizing the least amount of resources possible and yielding a very high level of returns. It's usage is intuitive and constantly being tweaked (improved) in a common sense approach. Oktopost allows us to use it as a shotgun or with surgical precision. The program allows us to meet the goals of specific programs without the resources "other" competitive programs require. I have found the customer service to be responsive and actually really nice people (I don't get that feeling from most company's customer service people who usually are reading from a script). The program does exactly what I want it to do at a price that I feel is fair.
Pros : LinkedIn group submittalTracking conversations and a dashboard to respond rather than searching and hunting to make responsesGood customer support
Cons : Make Google (G+) allow personal submitals through Oktopost. Let me make this clear, this is NOT an Oktopost problem, this is a Google problem!! But I put this down here because it is the only missing link to creating a total social media tool kit. When I first started there were very few support documents and learning resources. I think I was one of the first to sign up. Since then they have clearly been working on filling the learning center with information. Keep up the good work! The emails tha

Oktopost seemed like the perfect tool, not only would it curate relevant content but I could also schedule it to be posted to my social profiles at the click of a button, I signed up to their 30 day trial and jumped in head first.
