Nowadays, any company should be at least tracking their brand mentions, and mention is the perfect tool. There are other tools out there that can help you to do this (for example Google Alerts), but mention has a great User interface that allows you to monitor mentions from all sites, from social media platform and forums, to blog posts and news articles.
There are different levels of access available with price plans from only $29 per month which allow you to track up to 3 alerts totalling 3k mentions by up to 3 users, to the enterprise plan which offers companies the ability to track up to 30 keywords for 500K mentions per month and 30 users, as well as other services such as support (an account manager) and data export features. There are 2 other plans in between, so there’s a plan for everyone. Setting up a new mention is very easy, and you can filter out your own social channels and websites to prevent being notified of your own mentions. It’s also very easy to respond to the mention (when necessary) straight from the online tool, as well as having the option to reply, retweet, quote, or favourite a tweet that you were mentioned in without ever having to leave mention. Another great use of mention is to track competitor mentions. This can help you to understand who is talking about your competitor, in which channels, and even help you to identify possible link opportunities. The notification system can be set up to desktop notifications, the settings of which can be tweaked, which shows a popup when you get a new mention. This is great, because it help you to be made aware of mentions quickly so that they can be dealt with. It’s also very important to react quickly to negative mentions, which makes this even more useful.
I have had problems with the access levels on more than one occasion, where despite having my access set to admin, I was unable to make changes to the settings, such as marking various mentions as irrelevant. This may simply be down to bad user experience with the tool.
Sendible is easy to use and comes with great support. Looking to manage your social media effortlessly? Then I suggest you check out Sendible. Best suited for Twitter and Instagram, it makes community management a breeze. Having everything in a single tiered view makes scanning for mentions a simple task. One can reply right from Sendible and even schedule as well. This is a great platform for most community managers and teams. The experience has been enjoyable.
Not unlike many other social media management solutions, SproutSocial allows you to queue messages, monitor social conversations and respond within the program. You can very easily see a whole snapshot of your upcoming posts for one or all clients and easily make changes, add photos and determine the best time to send out your content in order to maximize engagement. There won’t be a huge learning curve because it’s a very straightforward solution so I would recommend this to any organization that needs to manage multiple social profiles.
The best thing about SproutSocial is that it goes beyond Twitter, unlike many other popular solutions. In addition to Twitter, you can integrate Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Google+. So rather than using many different tools to analyze your engagement and progress across each platform, you can think of SproutSocial as your all-in-one solution for social media management.
Another feature I really enjoy is the Smart Inbox, which allows you to set up keywords for your client’s brands and have the results delivered to this inbox. This is super helpful if you want to monitor keywords on Twitter or even hashtags on Instagram, especially if you’re running a contest and want all of the results aggregated in one place.
The reports are very clean looking and provide a lot of great analytics for your team and clients to review in order to improve your social media management.
Because SproutSocial can integrate multiple types of social media platforms, it is a bit pricier than others on the market. The cheapest plan starts at $60 per month and allows you to handle 10 profiles. For larger firms handling multiple clients and multiple platforms across each client, you may have to upgrade to the third tier team plan, which is a bit pricey at $500 per month.
Overall, though, I would say it’s worth the investment to have all of your social media analytics right at your fingertips within one easy to use the program.

What we like about mention is that it is priced very well considering the functionality that is provided. Typically you pay the big bucks for apps such as Mention. At a minimum you should be monitoring your brand name online. Mention is a cost effective and comprehensive tool that you should consider.More about Mention

Sendible Use Cases and Deployment ScopeSendible allows us to scale up drastically so that a small social media team can support a major brand's social media strategy across various platforms. We routinely scheduled more than 2,000 messages for 3 major brands over 12 different platforms. It was intuitive to use from the start and the improvement I remember being a game changer for us was when Sendible was one of the first social media tools out there that offered Pinterest integration.More about Sendible

The fact is that if you're a business that people know about, or if you want to be that type of business, then you need to read between the social networking lines. That's where everyone talks now. That's where people share their opinions. You need to be able to gauge the buzz, and engage to create the buzz. Sprout Social in my opinion is the best tool available on the internet to do exactly that.More about SproutSocial
