  • Dashlane is an impressive password manager with some excellent features and a beautiful interface. It does require a certain amount of trust in the company, especially when using its syncing options, and for $20/year, its Premium version is expensive when compared to the alternatives. Nevertheless, it is the perfect password manager for the less tech-savvy, and even the experienced are sure to enjoy it, if only for the merits of its interface. It's available in Android, iOS, and Mac editions, in addition to the PC edition I reviewed.

    Pros:

    Extremely easy set-up and usage.
Can store passwords locally or sync them to the cloud.
Seamless browser integration for passwords and forms.

    Cons:

Import from other managers doesn't always work.
Features are dispersed between program and browser add-on.
Premium version is a bit pricey.

  • Dashlane is a really great app and perfect for storing sensitive personal data. While it gets a lot of publicity for its password management skills, the ability to keep other information like banking/credit card info and secure notes really puts this app over the top. While there are some features I’d like added, such as Purchases and the Security Dashboard, I would strongly recommend Dashlane to anyone who needs to manage sensitive data.

  • Dashlane is an excellent password manager (one of the securest password managers, really) for a superb price. How much does Dashlane cost? This program is completely free, and that’s just impossible to beat! From the simplistic user-interface to the many features it includes, Dashlane is a program for anyone seeking to keep passwords safe and in order.

  • Dashlane doesn't have every password management feature, but it handles all the important tasks with a strong focus on ease of use. The new badge system makes improving your password security fun, and earning points lets you unlock premium features. This product has only been out for a few weeks, yet it has already gained some clever new features. When it matures a bit, I can picture myself switching. LastPass 1.72 remains Editors' Choice for password management, but Dashlane joins it as co-Editors' Choice. I'm quite impressed.

  • Dashlane could bring password managers to a wider audience. Its interface and architecture show a real attempt to simplify what has traditionally been a complex type of software. Sure, all of these features -except the online-shopping ones -are available in other password managers and form fillers, but they've never been done quite this well before.
