Since 2006, in order to create a complete security solution, AVG Technology has added to its antivirus, anti-spyware, link scanner, secure search engine, firewall, protection against identity theft and many other technologies.AVG Internet Security 2015 is a complete security solution that goes beyond basic safety. AVG has understood that the majority of users opted for the free protection and to remedy this problem the company AVG has decided to put the package on additional features to attract users to the paid versions of their software.Personally, I haven't encountered big difficulties installing AVG Internet Security 2015. The installation was quick and simple. Although pleasant and efficient, but the interface could be improved. The main displays are well presented and not too complicated, the main interface allows straightforward navigation. To satisfy customers who switched to the paid version, AVG provides them with tools that are not included in the free version such as Facebook protection tool, reports on the reputation of websites, a tool to fight against harassment to protect children, a YouTube video accelerator, updates more frequent updates and 24/7 support.
Advanced SystemCare is a very interesting software, one I originally found when my computers performance was really bad. The features I really liked about this software was that I could change what programs started up when my computer booted windows, which made my loading time decrease. Then using it on occasional to sweep out junk files, bad registry files, and other useless things, makes it really great to tidy up your computer without going through the hassle of trying to track down all the things yourself. My favorite feature is the Turbo Boost/Game Booster, what this does is it turns off specific things (you can choose what it does or doesn't turn off) and what I have seen on some older systems is this can give about a 20% increase in performance. The only things that might not be great about this, is it can kind of be sluggish and feel bloated with things you won't use, but you may need to install anyway. You're able to use it for free, but it's very limited in what it can do then. This is one of my go-to software when I have to clean someone's computer, as a lot of the time the performance issues come from a lot of startup files, also things and stuff running in the background that you can disable through Advanced system care.
Antivirus software in ways is almost like a bad word in the computer community because while it is necessary - nobody actually likes it. It costs money every year or so, and takes up precious system resources constantly scanning everything that passes through. Without it, though, your computer would be a train wreck in a short amount of time from essentially walking through a sewer naked, that is unless of course your computer is never on the internet and never has anything plugged into it that has been on the internet such as a thumb drive. Then you're probably ok, but that isn't too realistic.Enter Avast! Internet Security. It combines a pretty lightweight program, all things considered, that actually does a really good job at keeping your computer safe. The active scanners / shields on the system are updated constantly via Avast's cloud connection, usually receiving definition updates multiple times a day as new things are discovered. Its firewall does a fantastic job at blocking known malicious connections from ever reaching your computer by blocking them with a notification on the screen advising you of what action it took. Even emails in most typical clients are scanned beforehand for malicious attachments and quarantined immediately upon detection. You can even set it to handle SPAM email removal if your current provider's tools aren't quite up to snuff. It does, however, have a nasty habit of throwing up an advertisement for its other products every now and again even though you're in a paid version. Behavior like this is to be expected in their FREE licensed version, but is truly annoying considering you are already paying for the software. It is one thing to receive an email promotion now and again especially around renewal time, but to have physical pop-ups in the corner of the screen is not acceptable in my book.As a whole though I highly urge the product as the pop-ups aren't frequent and your system isn't bogged down to a crawl from just trying to protect itself.

There's a lot we like about AVG Internet Security 2015. AVG's overall virus protection has improved significantly (which that counts for a lot), and they've done it while also putting a lighter load on your PC. AVG Internet Security 2015 does a good job of PC protection, we just wish the tech support were better and easier to get to.More about AVG Internet Security

What Advanced SystemCarePro does do, it does very well. The only problem seems to be that the free version is extremely limited. If you're willing to pay for the paid version, you can get a much more fully featured piece of PC maintenance software.More about Advanced SystemCare Pro

Avast Internet Security falls right in the middle of our rankings this year. It's a solid Internet Security suite with great extra features. All and all, Avast Internet Security 2015 is a decent antivirus and antimalware program as long as you don't need tech support.More about Avast Internet Security
