  • Yesware Use Cases and Deployment ScopeWe are using yewsare to help sales write emails to clients and logging data in Salesforce. Additionally the insights on how email communications go, was a big initiative for 2015. Yesware solved these problems for us. Yesware is only used by our Sales Team.

    Pros : Email tracking, good reports on whether the email has been read, etc.Good tracking into SFDC, allows some neat dashboards.Good email templates, lets the team know what is working for their peers.

    Cons : Outlook connector is glitchy and hard to administer.Gmail connector sometimes glitches out and requires you to remove and add the plugin.

  • My team has been using Yesware for quite a while now and we are benefiting greatly from it. The quickness and accuracy of the email tracking gives us instant insight into our prospects and customers activity. They have added many new features that function smoothly and I know that they will continue to improve the product even further.

    Cons : Mass reporting on emails tracked / links clicked over time could be improved

    Incredibly easy to use. There are tonnes of players that do what they do. Some do more that what they do, some less. If you ask me, they have the most robust solution for their core function to track opens and clicks.

    • The best software of all the well knows competitors.

    Cons :

    • Can't think of any.

    A good tool for helping to automate sales processes and better engage with customers with the insight and knowledge of when they are reading your emails. Also some nice innovations around being able to time when you send an email, creating links or sign up pages for attachments, and reporting to help reps and sales support know when and who is clicking so that they can time the right and appropriate follow-up.

    I particularly like the ability to send small email campaigns. This is great for reps that might need to do a campaign to clients, to a targeted prospects, or reaching some specific audience.andnbsp; Making it easy for the rep helps better automate their day, not have to do the emails one by one or coordinate with marketing for what they might view as a very small campaign.

    Pros :

    • Great for seeing when emails are read and ensuring a timely follow-up.
    • The email campaign tool is great for smaller, non-marketing led email campaigns done by reps or sales support.
    • Useful alerts so that you can see activities from people reading/opening your emails.
    • Nice Salesforce integration so that you can leverage the reporting to drive even more insights.
    • The great ability to share out email templates and see what emails are working best across an organization or team.

    Cons :

    • Sometimes the Gmail interface can be a little clunky.
    • We often need to reset the token/certificate with Gmail- so Yesware won't work until we reset this. It can be frustrating at times.
    • Other tools seem to be catching up, so there is more choice in the market now (good for the customer, maybe not as good for Yesware).
    • Reporting for the mass mail/campaigns could be better, but to be fair, it is still in Beta.
    • Getting folks to consistently use it,a lot are strong out of the gates, but things lose momentum and use it sparingly.
