I have been using QuickBase for over 2 and 1/2 years. In that time I have come to grow and love the solution. It is very easy to use and customize and the reporting is top notch!
Pros : I love the powerful reporting and the ease of use.
Cons : I don't believe there are any cons at this time.

QuickBase Use Cases and Deployment ScopeQuickBase is being used extensively in our Center for Social Research on many community and internal research projects as well as in the Provost Office for the Division for Academic Affairs. I have created more than 45 applications, integrated into our own website, in order to improve process flow and data collection for both staff and faculty. The business problem it addresses is lack of IT ability to design and collect said data.
Pros : Database design and collection, as well as reporting functions are great for the non-IT person to create. Before we had QuickBase, all data collection and storage was done with Microsoft Excel with no way to integrate into our website.Love the API calls that bring up immediate/searchable information for our internal and external professional faculty and researchers across the globe. The versatality of the system even allows me to create on-demand RSVP forms for event planning, calendar creation,

Right now there are only two departments that use QB extensively.I would like an opportunity to work for QB to create a new niche and programs within higher education. With what I've developed for us, I'm alre

We tried to use Google Docs spreadsheets and shared Excel spreadsheets to run project collaboration between teams at our small company. However, these options kept on 'crashing' and we're now evaluating a more robust database solution such as Quickbase. I like that real-time updates, reports, and reminders can be automatically sent. I also like that Quickbase customization is easy to do
What do you dislike?
Appears to be a good solution but looks like the costs can add up -- esp as the team base package is $299/mo and then users beyond 10 are an additional $10/user/mo
