All in all, Producteev will greatly streamline the way your team works on projects together and will surely, if not completely, eliminate misunderstandings and failures to meet deadlines.

Producteev definitely falls short as a practical project management tool. That said, if basic task management is what you’re looking for – if all you need to do is to keep emails to a minimum, compile files and conversations in a practical manner, and make sure your employees are on the same page – then I recommend Producteev. You can’t do better than a free, lifelong subscription, and it is very valuable to have access to unlimited numbers of projects and participants.
Producteev has its faults, but in general it is a good task management tool: simple, straightforward, and user-friendly. It’s not fancy and it can’t do much, but small businesses and start-ups would be hard pressed to find a similar, completely free tool that functions as well as Producteev does.
Easy and simple task manager but I wouldn't use it as a project management tool.
Pros : Easy to use interface, great clarity into tasks and projects.
Cons : No calendar or Gantt chart view. Not able to manage subtasks by assigning them to separate owners from the task owner. Sub-tasks are only one level deep.

I have just one word to describe Producteev: simplicity. The solution is simple and easy-to-use. And that is its greatest asset. Task management software can become unnecessarily complicated due to multiple features and addons that may not be required by users. However, Producteev keeps things simple and helps users focus on tasks using an innovative social paradigm.

If Producteev never registered with you prior to Jive acquiring it, I highly recommend revisiting it to see the changes that have been made, especially if you are considering a social task management platform for your team. Producteev has gone from an application I found unremarkable to a platform I plan to watch when I write about social task management topics in the future.

If you’re a person whose smartphone is an extension of your soul, then may Producteev enter your innermost sanctum and breathe neatly arranged functionality throughout your entire being.

With a neatly designed Workspace and a feature-rich Settings page, it puts everything under control of the user, so one or many can work the way they do, only with better results.

Producteev has a good reputation for ToDo management, and has been available as a web app for many years. The addition of Android and iOS apps are relatively new, but they have made up for lost time quickly. The unpaid app is useful as long as you only want to use it with one other person and only want two workspaces. Otherwise, it can be a little restrictive. It is, however, a very useful app to use and simple to add tasks to.

If I was a business looking for a solid task manager, I would choose Producteev. However, Wunderkit’s social integration and lower price make it a solid choice for families or friends who need a way to plan activities or collaborate on non-work related things.

Producteev is definitely for the power-users out there and might be overkill for those with simple needs. If you’re going to use Producteev for just yourself or yourself and one other person, than the cost of FREE can’t be beat, but it’s one of the most expensive todo apps we’ve reviewed if you’re going to be working within a team of 3 or more people.
