We used PODIO before, but configuring it to our needs was a lot of work as we did not know how to get the max benefit out of it. Perhaps if you'd get a one-to-one session with them on the configuration stage, things would go much faster.
Pros : 100% customizable, perhaps to any of your need, a lot of apps available
Cons : Hard to configure it to some "best usage" in your own field. It's doable, but it takes you a lot of time than any out of the box tool that is doing a similar job.
It seems that Apptivo cannot realistically address our suppliers issues. There is no way to easily integrate supply products into the system as margins are not automatically calculated etc. The product has loads of potential, but currently, it has serious issues with supply chain management.

No one loves apps more than we do as a tool for improving your productivity and making life easier. Podio will mean that I can roll up what I am doing in Trello, Zoho, CRM and Producteev into one product and at my level of business it is currently free. That is awesome. I don't think I've ever been happier. It's that good I would consider paying for it, even though its free.More about Podio

The fact that QuickBase is customizable is a big selling point on this program. You can conduct almost all of your business utilizing this program. The program offers technical support and promises ease of use. However, in order to keep QuickBase from being too good to be true, the pricing creates a problem for many small and start up businesses that would otherwise be interested in utilizing the program for their business management needs. This set aside, if you have the resources to use QuickBase, it is a great program, easy to learn and easy to customize.More about QuickBase

I've been using Podio almost since it was an startup. It was great to use it as a internal communication tool,.... however, if you need to go further on the project management and knowledge, or many other uses.. it gets complicated and limited. The way it's built allows for a lot of uses and applications, but none of them is the main purpose the application is built for, ... so in some part you will face the limitations.More about Podio

What do you like best?A decent tool for Time Tracking, Invoicing, Opportunity management. It essentially seems to be geared toward Professional Services organizations. Especially with features like Time Tracking, Invoicing, etc. I like the fact that these services are integrated and native to the application. What do you dislike?The opportunity management features, reporting, and searching definitely seem to be lacking as compared to Salesforce. The interface is clumsy and difficult to use. Quickbase does not offer a phone number for customer service and sometimes take days to respond to e-mails. I often seem to know more about the program than the service representative I get - my boss says if I stay on the phone long enough with Quickbase I will figure a way around the problem while they tell me all the reasons something can't be done. I have found you can't respond to the surveys they send honestly if you want any help next time. The rep will scold you about how it negatively impacts their career and will likely not pick your email next time which means you wait that much longer before you get help next time. The reps like to call after office hours so they can show they attempted to respond quickly but you get no real help. The table-to-table relationships are so convoluted you will need a half-dozen fields and a weird relationship table to get information from one table to another, and then it won't arrive the way you want: It may be a drop-down that you have to click on four different fields to get the info from the other table. Ever need a simple number generator (x+1) for invoice numbers, job numbers, etc? Go somewhere else or hire someone to build you one (Excel users will cry). You get the response: we are working on that. Bottom Line: when developing a management program you will have time-sensitive issues that will make you wish for something better.More about QuickBase
