  • Ashampoo Burning Studio 15 gets high marks for its ease of use and features. It's not a free application, and there are some decent freeware alternatives available, but its overall approach and flexibility make it well worth the cost.

  • Ashampoo Burning Studio 14 is solid Blu-ray writing software, but it is more than that. You can copy noncommercial discs, add menus, trim sections, compress files, and burn to CD, DVD and Blu-ray. However, it doesn't offer everything you need from burning software, as it is lacking in backup options and ease of use.

  • There are still plenty of uses for optical drives, so if you have the need for a well-rounded suite that fully supports the technology, Ashampoo Burning Studio 14 deserves a look. If you don’t need the movie editing, image browsing and other advanced features, there’s also a free edition of Burning Studio that’s very competent.

  • In conclusion it should be noted that Ashampoo Burning Studio 14 is quite a good solution for burning disks on the Windows operating system: it includes a wide variety of features, from burning standard discs to advanced ones like photo slideshows, and does a great job at guiding the user through the whole process.

  • Ashampoo Burning Studio 14 is an easy to use burning software for the Windows operating system. It supports a wide variety of features, from burning standard discs to advanced uses such as the burning of photo slideshows, and does a great job at guiding the user through the whole process. The program could use support for additional video and disc image formats though. While the most important ones are supported, support for formats like flv or dmg would go along way.

  • Burning Studio 14 needs an update to do away with some glitches that damage the overall experience with the bundle. Although the package increased in functionality and features, it does not feel too bloated because the options are compact.
