Vend is mainly point of sale software specifically designed for retailers. As such, inventory capabilities might limited and they recommend to buy additional software to fill this gap. inFlow comes as full featured inventory software ready to go with no additional plugins required. Also works just as well for distributors, warehouses, manufactures as well as retailers.

While iMagic has been around since 2001, it's user interface does show it's age. It has most features a small business could need, but there are a few gaps. For example, there doesn't seem to be low stock notifications which is key when managing inventory. inFlow has a modern, clean and easy to use interface and, unlike, iMagic, comes with live support via phone and chat.

Stitch Labs is a relatively new inventory solution for small business. As such there may be some key feature gaps. For example, you can't manage returns with stitch labs. You also pay forever monthly (up to $199 per month if you want phone support) where inFlow starts at $399 one time and the license is yours for life.

  • inFlow Inventory is by far one of the finest inventory management software available. Its main advantage is that it is very simple to use, and getting used to it will take hours instead of days. The other good thing about it, is that it's free. It does have two more powerful versions available for purchase, however, this one is still good enough for managing a small company.

  • InFlow Inventory is a useful and complex piece of software which can help you organize your business more efficiently. CPU is minimal, RAM is moderate, and response time is good.

  • Long installation aside, InFlow Inventory Free Edition is a great free business software. If you haven't used similar software before, the ease of adding products and the great tutorials make it a good first-time choice.
