Yoast is most well-known for its plugin for Drupal and WordPress. WordPress is the version I am most familiar with, and is the most common version. It is practically a given on every WordPress project I do. It is the best and most flexible plugin for setting up SEO on a WordPress site that I have found. The two most important things it can do quickly and easily is to templatize clean URLs and clean title tags. While there are other ways to do this, the Yoast plugin is definitely the easiest and most effective. There are other SEO features built into the plugin as well. For example, it can selectively set types of pages (i.e., category, author, archive, etc.) to “noindex, follow”, a common recommendation for WordPress blogs. This plugin is most commonly compared with All in One SEO Pack. While All in One SEO Pack is generally capable of doing everything that Yoast does, there is one key difference that causes me to go with Yoast instead. When All in One SEO Pack adds things like title tags and meta descriptions to a page, it keeps the page from rendering until everything else is loaded, and then inserts the changes. For any site that loads even slightly slow, this means a blank page until the page is fully loaded. This is not a great practice, and Yoast manages to make the changes without hurting the load speed. It is extremely easy to use, and it is free to download the basic version. I have not yet found a need to upgrade it to the full version, but if you need additional support, it is certainly an option.
- Easy to use - Basic version is free - Performs many global SEO functions on a WordPress site - Doesn’t hurt load speed
- Only works on a couple open source platforms (mainly WordPress and Drupal)
Being a marketer manager what could help me the most? Of course SEO, which would increase my website rankings and bring me some targeted audience. I couldn't rely upon every software, but I found the SEO PowerSuite the most capable. I have no longer to do it manually when SEO PowerSuite could do it for me more comfortably. It does the job so quick which a person manually would have taken nearly weeks. Saved me months. Despite its automatic capabilities it helped me through SEO, it seemed to me like a personal guide. Guided me about how to boost traffic, for my better mean. It is the strongest among others especially in the keyword search and optimization tools. Its main feature includes Rank Tracker, Rank Tracker is an effective tool for seeing where your website ranks for your keywords. It’s easy to use, and the data is accurate with the right configuration. It allows us to schedule our rankings to be checked according to specific intervals. It can track universal results, the results are displayed in various ways, very clear results, with comparisons of results with previous ones, keywords are suggested. Makes professional reports with a variety of templates, these reports could easily be exported with a click. Website Auditor didn't use it much SEO SpyGlass, I used this tool to pull in backlinks from my own website I could manually check the links and ask webmaster to remove any dodgy links and add those links to Google’s disavow tool. LinkAssistant: with link assistant I can check all the link building opportunities, complete details about them, it verifies status checking if someone linked back to me, anchor variation options. I found all of the features very helpful. Really glad I came across it.

I am not going to use this software, not because the SEO PoweSuite is overpriced at $249, but for its features. Everything can be done either manually or by using free tools. However, that is just me. If you don’t have time or just want to make life easier by automate the whole process, then you can give it a try. This Link Assistant SEO PowerSuite review is not intended to discourage buying of the tool, rather tells you what to expect when you buy it.More about SEO PowerSuite
