From what I've experienced so far, ToutApp is a great tool to have in your back pocket; particularly for helping to manage one's sales team (Inside Sales / Business Development teams in particular, given the typically high volume of outbound emails they deal with each and every day).A terrific platform for being able to create email templates and easily apply contacts directly to the campaign, allowing for quick and easy drip and nurture initiatives. The amount of time saved really opens the door for more proactive engagements, providing added focus to key prospects that are in a more mature buying phase, while also continuing to nurture and educate those that aren't quite ready to get the wheels in motion yet.
One would never need to update your address book by copying the information from email signatures. Evercontact is a service that helps keep your mail contacts (Gmail contacts, Outlook contacts, Office365 contacts and Outlook contacts) and your CRM contacts (Connectwise, Salesforce and Highrise) always updated by mining your email accounts to create and update contacts. It simply takes out the pain of manually trying to find updated contacts or digging into the mail archives to find the contact of a person who emailed you once. Evercontact works in the background and will never erase your existing contacts.
Pros : Evercontact works even retroactively. It offers a Flashback feature which can scan up to 5 year old mails and can create or update the contact list. It gives you full control on the changes made to your contact list. You can chose to manually confirm or reject the changes suggested or go for completely automated option. You can even chose to receive the updates daily, weekly or monthly. It saves a lot of time and no contact is ever lost. A chrome plugin if also on offering which can let you save contact details from any web page in the browser and directly save it to the address book. The plugin is automatically able to identify which information is of what type and then updates the correct field with the correct information in the address book.For business users, keeping all contacts intact and updated is very important especially in sales dominated organizations. Also, in case of people moving out of your organizations, lots of important contacts go away with that person. With Evercontact, one cane always keeps on scanning the emails so that no contact is ever lost.
Cons : Evercontact scans the email for contact information in the email signatures which means that all the emails are accessed by the Evernote. Although Evernote claims that only an automated computer program does all the process and the email copy is deleted after the contact information has been extracted, it is hard to trust when your life runs on your email account. There have been instances of companies claims of deleting user information have been found false.
Xobni arrived a few years ago as a simple plugin for the monster that is Outlook by Microsoft. It started as a simple student project and grew into one of the very best plugins for Outlook. Xobni allows you to regain control of your inbox, or at least this is what the developers claim it will do.
ToutApp was used as part of our partnership with an external lead generation company. The tool was straight forward and provided decent metrics around our results once campaigns had been launched, though the first few campaigns didn't show properly in the system for some reason.andnbsp; No matter, the lead gen company figured out the glitch, and we were able to see click rates, etc. finally. As a secondary user, the tool seemed pretty straight forward, it could have been a bit more intuitive though and might offer more robust features.andnbsp; The cost vs. features don't seem in line either, a bit expensive for what you get.Working with an outside company, who primarily ran ToutApp, it was very frustrating as we attempted tracking down issues with the email campaigns going out. The ability to track who received what and why clients weren't removed from future campaigns automatically was very frustrating and resulted in some nasty and rude emails (to our company, from those who had been on a specific mail campaign and asked to be removed).andnbsp; From an interface perspective (and as noted), the tool seemed pretty straight forward though the visual (product skin) could be updated to something more fresh and exciting. After all, this is supposed to be fun work, we aren't complete this work from a dungeon (right?). The interface also speaks to usability of the solution and the circular feel we had when logging in to check up on the status of things (metrics, etc.).In all, this offering might be a good fit for some, I wouldn't stop here, though. Definitely, check out your alternate options and compare the pros and cons.andnbsp; Get someone to provide a demo and to prove the ease of use, a demo always makes it look/seem so easy.

ToutApp is a feature rich and cost effective enhancement to the business email client you already use. It’s designed for the sales professional and integrates easily with Salesforce.com. As a full-featured, yet simple and direct CRM tool, I think web workers, and especially whose who do a lot of sales-related work, will really appreciate Relenta. It keeps everything together and tightly integrated for those of you who love organization. Personally, I like how it enables me to keep everything nicely contained within my browser, so that if I need a break, all I have to do is quit Firefox and the air is cleared.More about Relenta
