How to Get Your Moz Analytics Free Trial

Moz Analytics is a service provided by Moz as part of its Pro package. It helps individual users and businesses save time using all-in-one set SEO research and analytics tools, hence enabling them to stay ahead of competitors and increasing their search engine visibility. The service also allows users to improve and measure their keyword rankings and organic traffic. Moreover, it also provides link metrics and ranking tracker and automatic auditing tools. Step 1:

Enter Moz website and scroll down to explore how the analytics application works and how it tracks your website’s keyword rankings and organic traffic. Once done, go to the top of the page and click on ‘Start My Free 30-Day Trial” to move on with the free trial process.

After clicking on ‘Start My Free 30-Day Trial”, you will be directed to the Signup page. Here you will be asked to enter key contact and payment details. It includes your email address, your display name, your password, credit card number, expiration date, and security code.

Once done, scroll down and fill out the billing address for your card, which includes your first name, last name, telephone number, address, country, city, and postal code. (Note: Moz only asks for credit card information so that you don’t experience any interruptions after your trial expires and you decide to continue your subscription).

  • I've used Moz across several roles in the last 4 years and found it to be very useful. My favourite tool from Moz has to be Open Site Explorer, which is great for getting a quick overview of the authority of a website, with data to back this up which mainly comes from backlink profile and social shares. This tools allows me to dig into my backlinks, checking the authority at domain level & page level, along with a spam score which is useful when looking to identify low quality links. it can also be used to compare link metrics with other websites, which is great for discovering new links. I have to say, I've never been a huge fan of using Moz for SEO campaigns, as a lot of the suggestions that were being made to optimise my pages were very basic. However, it looks like they have made a lot of changes since I last used it, providing more of a dashboard approach which is good for getting an overview of a website.

    Pros : Access to Mos's suit of tools to help with the main aspects of online marketing Great for getting a snapshot of website performance Good for identifying new opportunities for links & Keywords OSE is a great tool which provides a snapshot of your link profile with many great features Nice custom reports Access to a number of discounts or exclusive free trials through Moz's 'Perks'

    Cons : OSE doesn't discover as many links as some of the other SEO tools that I use

    I started using Moz to not only get more in-depth tracking tools but to simplify the process while having more resources to learn local online marketing with. They are a great company with a great tool with a lot of insight into staying up to date with a tool that can handle a lot of up to date trends. Whether you have one company with multiple websites or are like me and manage multiple clients marketing campaigns, it's a great tool to have.

    Pros :

    • They have very simple tracking tools that are super easy to get started with integrating to websites and what's even better is that you can find insight into local competitors as well.
    • The more information you have that is easy to understand with quick and easy access to the better as a marketer and or business owner and Moz provides that.
    • I like how automatic reports are emailed to my clients, most of which don't care to read but like how I can provide data into how they are doing.
    • Most of the time because of all these reports I end up having quarterly or yearly meetings and the common thought from my customers are,"Wow, you can bring a lot of insight and information to the table".
    • Competitor comparisons can be chosen by you and not by some auto generated tool, and you can see the difference no matter how big or small what competitors are doing in regards to link building, onsite search engine optimization or other key insight needed to market for my clients in direct relation to what other companies are doing locally.andnbsp;

    Cons :

    • Not for the complete novice but still easy to get moving forward on. They offer a free trial, to begin with, but if you are getting into the online marketing, I would recommend reading up a lot of material in their free information section to know more about what you'll be dealing with.
    • I'd then would recommend the free trial and get a hold of people who have used it in their online community and see how much more you can apply it to your business.

    Awesome user interface and functionality. MOZ is the most comprehensive SEO tool I know. It focuses on both onsite and offsite which is great. In my experience, the link tracker isn't the best, a significantly lower amount of links are provided compared to some of the competitor tools. However, it's wide range of tools make it the best one to buy first.andnbsp;

    Pros :

    • Wide range of tools.
    • Useful SEO guides.
    • Onsite and offsite.
    • Relatively cheap.
    • Great user interface.

    Cons :

    • Link tracker isn't perfect.

    As someone who has worked in the internet marketing industry for some time, I’ve had the chance to use several SEO software solutions. Moz offers a variety of tools that have different features and capabilities, but where it really misses the mark is in its limitation of the number of campaigns you can have. For example, the Standard monthly package only allows up to five campaigns and 300 keywords. There are other SEO software solutions that offer a much higher number of campaigns for around the same price, many of which pull directly from Moz’s information. For small agencies owners who sometimes experience an ebb and flow of clients, such limitations are just not workable. That being said, I do think Moz is one of the best solutions for internal marketing departments and non-agency small business owners.

    Pros :

    In the time we used Moz, there were several features we really took advantage of. The Open Site Explorer option is great for comparing a site’s authority to its competitors. This feature provides information about backlink effectiveness and social shares on a page-by-page basis, which was really useful when trying to identify low quality links. Although some of the suggestions were basic, Moz was able to identify areas that could be improved in an efficient, streamlined manner.

    Cons :

    Overall, Moz has a lot of great features, but it just isn’t the best option for small agencies like mine. It would be great if they offered the same capabilities, but with a larger number of campaigns without breaking the bank. In the end, we just found better solutions from a cost perspective.

    Moz is a great SEO tool to manage on-site SEO. The interface is very easy to use and analyze data. Combined with the power of their off-site backlink tool, Open Site Explorer, you have a powerful combination to boost a website's rankings over weaker-SEO optimized competitors.

    Pros :

    • Very thorough SEO tool.
    • Great interface.

    Cons :

    • Would prefer it be combined in one interface with off-site SEO data too.

    Moz tools are exactly what we needed in the company. We've tried a few SEO and inbound marketing tools, and as it turns out, Moz ranks among the best.

    Pros : Among others: Great support staff and help forums, Detailed Reports, Recommendations to improve SEO, Keyword Optimization, Backlink Analysis, Search Engine rank tracking, User-Friendly interface, etc.

    Cons : Frankly, I don't see anything negative with Moz overall.
