I've used Majestic for years. It's a data-rich platform for analyzing backlinks and finding better links to get. Once you understand DA and TF: Domain Authority and Trust Flow, which is fairly easy to see on the graph, then you know which links are better than others.
I started using Moz to not only get more in-depth tracking tools but to simplify the process while having more resources to learn local online marketing with. They are a great company with a great tool with a lot of insight into staying up to date with a tool that can handle a lot of up to date trends. Whether you have one company with multiple websites or are like me and manage multiple clients marketing campaigns, it's a great tool to have.
I've tried just about every SEO rank tracker out there. Rank Watch worked well for a while, started to get terribly buggy, got even worse, then after two months of unfixed glitching and interfering with client work - I cancelled my account. Lo and behold, a few weeks later, I still was charged. I reported them to PayPal - avoid at all costs. There are plenty of better options - personally I like Bright Local the most, and and Pro Rank Tracker is better, and has been reliable since they were in free beta testing, if you just want a bare bones rank tracker.

This is a massively powerful set of tools if you’re interested in link building. It’s intuitive, fast, and due to the different tiers of pricing, there’s an option for everyone. If you need less link-focused tools this may not be the suite for you, because there are no rank checkers or code validators, but for link building, it’s seriously top notch.More about Majestic SEO

The power of Majestic SEO comes from the fact that it is able to find so many links. However at the current time Majestic does not seem to do a fantastic job of ranking the links or keeping the information up date. If you have a system in place that can automate this part of the process Majestic SEO has the potential to be an incredibly powerful tool.More about Majestic SEO

One of my criticisms of the SEOmoz tools has always been that they felt a bit style over substance. Moz analytics is still a beta product so I’m not going to be too harsh here but the toolset does to me still feel a bit empty and I’m not convinced there’s much of an improvement over the old Pro dashboard which Moz Analytics will replace. However some of the tools are excellent and the content is really useful for keeping you up to date.More about Moz Analytics
