  • MailJet, you get what you pay for.

    All I can say, is try and fine a phone number of email address for technical support ANYWHERE. Your only contact is through the support form, which would be great if they didn't take 2 days to get back to you. 2 days is two days too long if you send out 12,000 emails and all of the links don't work as happened to us. When you use MailJet, they do some kind of redirecting, probably so they can capture analytics. At 10:44 we ran our final test and it worked. At 11:00 we launched 12,000 and every hyperlink was broke. First thing the next morning I ran a test again and the links worked on that. Been trying to get a hold of Mail Jet all morning while my customer if fielding angry emails and calls from the recipients. It's a huge embarrassment and frustration for all of us. Now ask me if the $7.50 per month price is a good deal or not? Oh, and this is not the first time we've needed help and gotten into this bind. We will be switching once we manage this emergency.

    Pros : Very cheap tool. $7.50 per month for up to 30,000 emails.

    Cons : Cheap. Tech support is a minimum of a day from responding and you probably won't get much out of them. Outsourcing or cloud doesn't work if the vendors don't respond to your urgent issues on a timely basis. How about a tech support phone number, chat, email address????? Bump the price up to $10/month and actually provide something.

    The best value to route your emails in an efficient way

    Overall impression is very good. Integrated the solution to route my app emails: was done very quickly.

    Pros : - The stats - The intuitive interface - The price - The general performances

    Cons : I'm also using Mailjet for Marketing purposes and I regret that there is no "merge function" yet, when using the online platform.

  • Perfect for segmenting to niche targets

    What do you like best?

    Mailjet's ability to segment a list based on certain criteria has been the perfect solution for sending our users emails based on very specific criteria (favorite musical preferences). These emails are our product, so being able to rely on Mailjet's deliverability and stats has been huge. Their team -- especially in the U.S. -- has been tremendously helpful in helping guide our email strategy as well. I also enjoy keeping up with email and marketing trends via their blog.

    What do you dislike?

    There's really not much to dislike. I had a little bit of trouble with STMP setup, butI believe it was on the domain side of things, and the Mailjet team were kind enough to walk me through it.

    What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you realized?

    I wasn't so much solving a problem, as much as I was looking for a vehicle to deliver our product (daily targeted emails to a subscriber base).

    Simple low cost email newsletters

    What do you like best?

    Mostly the affordable price. We have a weekly list of over 30,000 users, so by comparison to other services, we save hundreds every month on our distribution.

    What do you dislike?

    I wish it had a bit more reporting, but I understand there are reasons for the cost savings.

    Recommendations to others considering the product

    Be prepared to spend a little time customizing your own template based on theirs. It's worth it, and once that's done, you can copy and change that template each week. Once you get it set up, it's very easy.

    Cost savings while still continuing frequent communication with our newsletter list.

    What do you like best?

    An interesting feature is its emphasis on email security. The service offers dedicated IP addresses to send your email for silver account holders. In addition, the ReturnPath tool provides you with a real-time status update.One can also choose to send the campaign to select users or an entire domain. For example, you could choose to send the campaign to the entire yahoo domain or select contacts from your address book.

    Nothing to dislike really. Easy to set up and configure.

  • For businesses interested in a way to create and manage e-mail campaigns for free and then have the possibility to scale at an affordable price, Mailjet is very appealing solution. Once the app is set up, e-mail campaigns will have a better chance at deliverability, since server settings prevent e-mails from being viewed as spam.
