After using a couple of email marketing systems, we signed up with Constant Contact and love it! Generating emails that any email platform can resolve easily without broken code and graphics that display easily on machines and mobile devices is perfect. I've used constant contact on large 30K plus campaigns bi-weekly for several years, and the returns are fantastic. Customers will print those coupons and bring them into the store to redeem. They work! Generating reports is fast and easy, and I like that we can have reports automatically sent to us so that to keep us updated on our progress and see what is working and what needs improvement. Your support at Constant Contact is also top notch. They are willing to help you with anything you have questions with at the drop of a hat, and that is unheard of these days. Usually, companies will schedule a call with the only technician they have on staff but everyone at Constant Contact is very helpful at all levels. The ability to send out customer surveys fast and easy is a HUGE plus! Those surveys can also feature logic based questions which react to a customer's response by changing the direction of questions or asking for further detail. Ex: "Are you happy with your purchase?" if the customer answers " Yes" then it can move to the next question. If the customer answers "no" it can open a dialog box that asks for an explanation as to what occurred so we can improve our service and address any issues that may be trending with a particular product, store, or employee. The social media aspect of Constant Contact is also a fantastic feature for companies who sell products or services to users of social media. You can post the same survey to your social media accounts like Facebook, with ease!
As an email marketing software, iContact is very affordable and user-friendly. It is easy to learn by anyone with a basic knowledge of this type of program. You can import your current lists easily and add people you’ve met online without them needing to opt in at your website. This is very good for speakers who gather most contacts at their appearances.
From what I've experienced so far, ToutApp is a great tool to have in your back pocket; particularly for helping to manage one's sales team (Inside Sales / Business Development teams in particular, given the typically high volume of outbound emails they deal with each and every day).A terrific platform for being able to create email templates and easily apply contacts directly to the campaign, allowing for quick and easy drip and nurture initiatives. The amount of time saved really opens the door for more proactive engagements, providing added focus to key prospects that are in a more mature buying phase, while also continuing to nurture and educate those that aren't quite ready to get the wheels in motion yet.
Constant Contact is your basic email sender. It's not an amazing platform and is more "microsoft" than creative.
Pros : It get's the emails where they need to go and gets them there fast.
Cons : The emails don't look near as good as Mailchimp created emails.
ToutApp was used as part of our partnership with an external lead generation company. The tool was straight forward and provided decent metrics around our results once campaigns had been launched, though the first few campaigns didn't show properly in the system for some reason.andnbsp; No matter, the lead gen company figured out the glitch, and we were able to see click rates, etc. finally. As a secondary user, the tool seemed pretty straight forward, it could have been a bit more intuitive though and might offer more robust features.andnbsp; The cost vs. features don't seem in line either, a bit expensive for what you get.Working with an outside company, who primarily ran ToutApp, it was very frustrating as we attempted tracking down issues with the email campaigns going out. The ability to track who received what and why clients weren't removed from future campaigns automatically was very frustrating and resulted in some nasty and rude emails (to our company, from those who had been on a specific mail campaign and asked to be removed).andnbsp; From an interface perspective (and as noted), the tool seemed pretty straight forward though the visual (product skin) could be updated to something more fresh and exciting. After all, this is supposed to be fun work, we aren't complete this work from a dungeon (right?). The interface also speaks to usability of the solution and the circular feel we had when logging in to check up on the status of things (metrics, etc.).In all, this offering might be a good fit for some, I wouldn't stop here, though. Definitely, check out your alternate options and compare the pros and cons.andnbsp; Get someone to provide a demo and to prove the ease of use, a demo always makes it look/seem so easy.

Constant Contact is working hard to be a one-stop source of tools and educational resources. From the little things, such as letting you know right upfront how long it will take to complete a specific resource to the bigger things like coaching you through an entire campaign or process. If you’ve been looking for a solution that’s friendly for small business owners on a budget of both money and time, Constant Contact is worth a serious look.More about Constant Contact

ToutApp is cool. If I wasn’t spending way too much money on Hubspot, this would be a perfect sales tool. ToutApp is a feature rich and cost effective enhancement to the business email client you already use. It’s designed for the sales professional and integrates easily with Salesforce.com. Used properly, it can greatly increase the efficiency and effectiveness in an area where everyone (and salespeople in particular) spends much of their day.More about ToutApp

Constant Contact is not a dynamic email marketing system, but it is a reliable choice for small business owners. The system is especially useful for those who are in retail and professional services, looking to build up their marketing services. Because the templates are simple and easy to use, you can quickly send out quality emails to your list.More about Constant Contact

What do you like best?I came into a new marketing position at an events-based company. There were leftover templates pre-created in iContact by the previous marketing associate. I liked the fact that I could just reuse these templates, or use them as a working grounds for customizing succinct messaging with relevant information, which I assumed would be more efficient for campaigns. I was terribly wrong. What do you dislike? The editing features on iContact are outdated. The image upload has a 200k limit. The image upload was glitchy when loading. The text formatting was glitchy (issues with bolding text). The draft save didn't always work. Sometimes it saved. Sometimes it loaded previous versions. This caused severe issues when sending emails. I've caused customer support several times about these glitches. A customer representative from iContact actually told me that because of recipients recognizing the server information of iContact, over several years time, it may be likely that the unopened emails would eventually move the iContact server (our company) into the junk mail folder, reducing the open rate of our subscribers. When asked if they had created a solution to correct for this issue, they had none. Today, a previous draft email made its way to our recipients, instead of a current email. My hope was that the email could be retracted. I called customer support to explain the issue, and he...Recommendations to others considering the productDo not buy their product. What business problems are you solving? All I can say, is try and fine a phone number of email address for technical support ANYWHERE. Your only contact is through the support form, which would be great if they didn't take 2 days to get back to you. 2 days is two days too long if you send out 12,000 emails and all of the links don't work as happened to us. When you use MailJet, they do some kind of redirecting, probably so they can capture analytics. At 10:44 we ran our final test and it worked. At 11:00 we launched 12,000 and every hyperlink was broke. First thing the next morning I ran a test again and the links worked on that. Been trying to get a hold of Mail Jet all morning while my customer if fielding angry emails and calls from the recipients. It's a huge embarrassment and frustration for all of us. Now ask me if the $7.50 per month price is a good deal or not? Oh, and this is not the first time we've needed help and gotten into this bind. We will be switching once we manage this emergency.More about Mailjet
