Mac users are not spoilt for variety of applications. In fact, it's not easy to find the good FTP-client with the rich feature set and stable performance. Transmit is a pleasant exception to the rule. The program stores iDisk and Bonjour connections, stores connection history and contains a folder for bookmarks. Selected connections are synced via MobileMe, so you will have identical connections on all your Macs. There is the unique Places feature. Places are shortcuts to different folders within the FTP connection. This means that you can save bookmark for each remote or local environment. It is possible to synchronize folders using the Transmit. The direction of synchronization may be configured. The user also can add some additional options, such as deleting old documents and determining changed files. Transmit even allows to simulate synchronization in order to ensure that the settings are correct. Transmit provides the ability to mount the FTP connection in the Finder (using MacFUSE). Your connections appear on your desktop, and you can easily move, delete and modify files on the server as if they were in your system. Since MacFUSE is responsible for all of the connections, there is no need to start Transmit. If you activate the `Transmit Disk menu` feature, you can connect and disconnect the drives right from the menu bar of OS X. Transmit also supports Droplets and DockSend features. Droplets are small pre-configured applications designed for the automatic file uploading into the predefined directory on the server. Just move the file to the droplet, and it will be automatically uploaded into the folder you want. DockSend feature allows you quickly upload files to a directory on the server by dragging and dropping these files on the Transmit icon in the Dock.
Adobe Send makes it easy to share large files by providing a cloud storage and sharing platform hosted over Adobe cloud servers. It is very simple to use. The file needs to be shared it uploaded to Adobe Send and email ids are entered for people the file is supposed to be shared with. An email with the link to view or download the uploaded file is sent to the people immediately. If file sharing is not the primary purpose, Adobe Send can also be used as a secure cloud storage solution. It also has a desktop application like other players which makes it easy to sync your files on your local hard drive.
Adobe Send deploys various mechanisms to ensure that your data remains safe. It also offers tracking features so that one can easily track if the file has been opened or how many times it has been opened. The best feature is its Microsoft Outlook plugin available for Windows OS users. Users can set up the Adobe Send plugin to various configurations. The Adobe Send plugin can be used as a default way to send all attachments or can be set up to be used only if the attachment size is above a specified threshold. One can even set various permissions for files sent using Adobe Send like the number of days the file will be available for download and a delivery receipt to be received when the file has been delivered to the recipient. Another interesting feature is the option to convert all the files to PDF before sending. This avoids the worry of your content gets edited by unauthorized people.
Adobe Send does not offer mobile apps which is a big disappointment as it does not let users to share and access files on the go. The maximum size of a file that can be uploaded and shared is limited to 2 GB which is quite less by today’s standards. Phone support is not available on weekends which can let customers miss critical deadline in case there is an issue with the service. No Outlook plugin is present for Mac OS users.

Transmit 4 is almost perfect. I say almost because perfection doesn't exist, so my almost is a symptom of something that truly stands out and, basically, has no competitors. It's beautiful.I don't think I've seen such a great looking piece of software gracing my Mac recently. Transmit 4 is what we love about Mac OS X.More about Transmit

I been a customer for a week and the user sign up is very flacky at best. My users can sign up to submit a ticket so it's been pretty much useless at this point. I have mentioned this several times and submitted tickets to the company's helpdesk. They seem to get back but always ends up as they are looking into the issue and they close out the ticket like it's fixed. One week later I still having issues. If problem still occurs I will mostly cancel within the next few days.More about Freshservice
