Our sales team lives in Salesforce but as a marketing user there is still some user experiences that need to be fixed. Very comprehensive and robust platform, but very dated user interface and not optimized for ease of use.

Salesforce Use Cases and Deployment ScopeSalesforce.com is used as a CRM and marketing enablement tool. We use it to manage leads, accounts and create opportunities. Our accounting team uses it to manage our quoting and billing system. It is completely integral to everything that happens in the company. It is a very easy to use interface with a slick intuitive layout. Most people who have used a CRM tool are able to pick up the processes pretty quickly.
Pros : It is VERY easy to manage clients and where you are in the sales cycle.It is easy for reporting to your managers or for your management team to get a quick pulse of your business.It also helps to maintain a good marketing leads database.
Cons : Sometimes it is a bit clunky.Chatter gets really in the way by the default layout.It also tries to be a social media "thing" for your company, not sure why.

What do you like best?
Speed of development and deployment are key advantages for SnapLogic. The platform and features set are enabling us to perform advanced integration patterns quickly and efficiently. We are currently implementing an integration between multiple sites in China and have been able to leverage the platform and it's features to greatly minimize the number of artifacts. The design pattern is reusable, and will be a critical part of our successes going forward.
What do you dislike?
I wish there was a self service interface for setting up and configuration of Snaplex's.
