  • RingCentral - Cutting Edge Cloud Based VOIP System

    We have used a cloud based VOIP system for many years and switched to RingCentral nearly 3 years ago now. We have been very happy with the service and features of this application. The software support for the application includes a Desktop App that allows you to use your computer as a communication device and message center, a Google Apps extension that works very well with Gmail, Google Calendar etc. The support for Android and iPhone devices is also very robust allowing your staff to use their own phones as company extensions. I doubt you would find a provider more plugged into the mobile world than RingCentral. Our office uses the service on both traditional VOIP handsets as well as the other software options on smart phones and desktops. This is a great solution for organizations with multiple locations or mobile employees. Highly recommended.

    Pros : Software support for multiple devices and computers. Good tech support Very Flexible setup.

    Cons : Can be costly depending on number of users and feature set desired.

    Ring Central blows the others away!

    I am a cloud software systems integration and consulting firm with a select portfolio of vendor partners/platforms. I hand-pick, test and evaluate ALL our cloud platforms before recommending to our clients. I've tested MANY telephony solutions and bar none, Ring Central exceeds in performance, stability, user interface, integration w 3rd party platforms, price and more. I have hosted live web calls from my car on a mobile phone and screen shared with attendees located globally and have never had such flawless audio and streaming functionality as Ring Central. The mobile applications are beautifully designed, easy to use, and features that perform better then one typically expects! I also use Ring Central as our company telephony and meeting solution with full Google and CRM integration enabled. Love love love everything about this vendor and the amazing platform they developed. And a bonus......the account representatives and support teams I work with at RC are beyond great, friendly, knowledgable and fast to respond.

    Pros : Web meetings are consistently stable, no audio issues, no connectivity challenges or dropped meetings. Audio is crystal clear. IVR and call routing is simple to deploy. Can't say enough about the features! Oh, LOVE the Chat feature and seamless fax functionality!

    Cons : Would love to see more global expansion however, since partnering with Ring Central I have witnessed over 10 new countries added so I know they are on it :)

    Great Scalable VOIP App

    Since moving to RingCentral we have been able to increase our level of customer service. They have an easy app for mobile devices, PC desktop phones, IP phones and dashboard to control the entire system.

    Pros : Easy to use. Additional apps to communicate on mobile devices. Phones forward and ring multiple extensions with ease. Very scalable. Full Virtual PBX system. Easy to add remote "staff" to your environment.

    Cons : Support is in the Phillipines. Sometimes it lacks quality, but if you request a dedicated account rep, the service can be very good.

  • Ease-of-use

    The setup practically takes care of itself, and the ability to forward calls to your cell and take it on the go is fantastic.

    Functionality

    The ability to forward calls to my cell phone and to make calls from my work number through the mobile app is great.

    Product Quality

    I have never had any issues with RingCentral being able to accomplish something I was hoping to do with my office phone.

    Customer Support

    I haven't had to utilize customer support, but our ops people have and have always had positive reviews.

    I like the ability to forward calls to my cell phone/app. It's easy to use on the road.

    Likes Least

    I don't have any complaints about RingCentral. It has always done what I needed.

    Recommendations

    You can evaluate all the services that you'd like, but you'll end up going with Ring Central.

    Ease-of-use

    The cloud-based software is easy enough to use on a daily basis and on the app.

    Functionality

    The functionality is fine for what we need. I am able to customize each line.

    Product Quality

    The quality is very clear. Just make sure your internet speeds are high and that you can handle VoIP.

    Customer Support

    I have never had a bad experience with the support department.

    When I transfer a call, it doesn't show the caller ID after I transfer the call.

    Recommendations

    Make sure your internet speeds are high and that you can handle the VoIP.

    Ease-of-use

    It's easy to access, and it does what you would expect. The first couple of versions did not seem to operate with the iPhone very well, but more recent versions have been much more stable.

    Functionality

    It enables a great way to stay in touch via mobile even when out of the office.

    Product Quality

    Quality has been very good except for the refresh issue.

    Customer Support

    I have not personally called support, but my operations folks have. All questions have always been answered to satisfaction.

    Likes Best

    It's a simple application for using mobile to connect to other co-workers straight to their internal line or for sending texts to them. It's also easy to listen to voice messages while out of the office.

    Likes Least

    Sometimes, the refresh does not occur after listening and clearing out voice messages. Occasionally, it takes having to shut the app down and restart for the refresh to occur.

    Recommendations

    We have been using RingCentral for over three years now and are quite happy.

  • I think RingCentral provide a very good package overall. They are a reputable company who is listed in US. I am sure that their service and company will only get better. Their Office VoIP is one of the highlight product that I would recommend for your office and business usage.

  • If you're not using a hosted PBX system, you' probably either missing out on features, or you're paying too much. For small businesses that have been using only one line or a mobile phone, a hosted PBX such as RingCentral Office can give your business a more professional look at a lower cost.

  • RingCentral is a surprisingly sophisticated but easy-to–use Web-based VoIP PBX for small businesses.
