At first approach, Kaspersky manager interface is really very slim and compact and emphasizes its antivirus functions, however, remain quite hidden other features related to security tools, for ex. all the different monitoring tools and advanced management (additional tools menu). This is (for an average user, or rather a novice user) just fine but if you want to "play" a little more, and you'll have to do a double shift. It offers all the classic scan types then: complete, personalized (if you want to choose or exclude something), fast, external devices, and task manager. Like all Antivirus has available the quarantine tool that allows you to store all the infected files or deemed potentially dangerous. It's going to be up to us to decide what to do with these.

On one hand, Kaspersky has proven itself to be a secure, competent antivirus program over the years. This year is no exception. But the glaring issues of heavy resource usage, poor technical support, and less-than-ideal usability are all dings against them. I been a customer for a week and the user sign up is very flacky at best. My users can sign up to submit a ticket so it's been pretty much useless at this point. I have mentioned this several times and submitted tickets to the company's helpdesk. They seem to get back but always ends up as they are looking into the issue and they close out the ticket like it's fixed. One week later I still having issues. If problem still occurs I will mostly cancel within the next few days.More about Freshservice
