AnyClient is a free FTP client which supports Amazon S3, FTP/S, SFTP, WebDAV, and AFTP protocols. It is available as a standalone program and (what sounds more interesting) as an online app. While the first option is not unique, the second may be notable. Assume that you need FTP client, but you can't or don't want to install it. The online one may be the good alternative. But note that AnyClient runs on Java, so you should install the Java client before using the service. Due to its nature, the AnyClient app works on all major operating systems including Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. The interface of the online FTP client is quite simple and consists of two panels. There is no drag and drop support, but one can use the site manager where the multiple profiles can be stored. AnyClient Web stores user's data using AES-256 encryption whose secret key can be unlocked only with user's password. This secret key is further protected during the session using span SSL encryption. Note that site profiles are stored locally, and that's why cannot be seen by anyone but yourself. Security is also ensured by FTPS, SFTP/SSH, and WebDAV protocols support. They encrypt both user's credentials and data as they are sent over the network. Here is the handy feature that can be used before file uploading — automatic zip backup. It is also possible to automatically decrypt OpenPGP encrypted files upon download. This can significantly reduce the number of steps for decrypting files, which normally involves using a standalone OpenPGP encryption/decryption tool like Portable PGP.

    Pros :

    • AnyClient is totally free (no ads, no hidden fees, no premium options).
    • High secure level (using the secure protocols and AES-256 encryption for storing user data)

    Cons :

    • No advanced features like in FileZilla and other great desktop applications.
