PocketSmith is a fun, useful tool. The beauty of PocketSmith is the calendar function, which is used to track each account, such as checking, credit cards, student loans, etc.
If you are looking for high-level, detailed information on your accounts, and future financial forecasts, PocketSmith might be worth the investment. However, if your current, free system is working, I recommend saving your money for something else.

I had a few questions when I signed up which were answered quickly by an actual person. Their Wiki is quite helpful, too. The other really unique thing about this company is that they actually look for user suggestions to implement in their future releases of the software.
At any rate, I couldn’t be happier to be a paying user of PocketSmith and to know that our finances are secure, and our budgets are under control.

Overall, PocketSmith’s calendar format for personal finance is a welcome alternative to the somewhat linear format of programs like Quicken and the defunct MS Money. If you find the budgeting process intimidating, then you’ll be happy to know that PocketSmith makes it easy to enter transactions and track your money. It’s a service you may want to check out if you’d like assistance with budgeting or you’re looking for more information than a spreadsheet can provide alone.

There are more handy features within Pocketsmith, but the ones mentioned are really all you need to know to get started. With this said, this app appeals both to basic and advanced users. Pocketsmith may not have the most user-friendly interface, but the ample amount of tutorials make up for that. Although some helpful features require technical know-how, it doesn’t entirely isolate those who are not so tech savvy. Overall, Pocketsmith is an excellent choice for managing small and big budgets alike.

If you’re currently using a handful of different money management tools to handle your finances, then PocketSmith has an idea: stop.Overall, PocketSmith is a great tool for people who need a little extra nudge to push them to save.

There's a lot more you can do to track and evaluate your finances in Pocketsmith besides the calendar. The best part of the app is how it gives you a more in-depth and clear look at how much money you have now and how much you'll have in the future.

The strength of PocketSmith is in it’s ability to predict and plan for the future through the use of calendars. In addition to the calendars, there’s a rich set of reporting tools that I only briefly played with. Finally, there aren’t any security issues to deal with because you never give PocketSmith your credentials when uploading transaction data.
The Pocketsmith site is recommended to anyone who would like an easy way to track their finances and budget. The visual interface, as opposed to a traditional list-based financial application, is very convenient. The financial application is a complete finance management solution, and can be used to replace desktop software such as Quicken.

PocketSmith helps you see what's coming up instead of analyzing money you've already spent.
PocketSmith is an online personal finance software app with cash flow forecasting features so you can see how you choose to spend or save money will effect future financial plans.

Pocketsmith is a great tool! I have been using it for a few months now and I must say I have enjoyed using the program so far. Although it can seem a little confusing at first after the tutorials and some practice Pocketsmith is probably the most user friendly personal finance software I have used. I also like the focus on the future rather than the past, Pocketsmith orients its users to concentrate on the future and not the past this can be very powerful in reaching financial goals.
I would highly recommend you at least try out the FREE version of Pocketsmith for yourself and if you like it you can always change to the paid versions.
