Spotify is the ultimate tool for listening to and discovering new music (unless you’re looking for Taylor Swift). It’s easy to use and has an abundance of well-known and yet-to-be-discovered artists. Apple Music simply can’t compare. The premium version is recommended if you’re going to be streaming music in an office setting to avoid commercials.
The user interface is simple to use and clean. Even without the premium version, you can play specific songs and skip an unlimited amount of times on the desktop version. You also have access to endless curated playlists, new releases and a library with every genre of music known to man. You can also create and share your own playlists easily. You can even make your playlists collaborative so that your friends can add songs as well. However, you also have the option to make a playlist private. You can build your own or use the numerous Spotify playlists for inspiration when building your own. It also has a new feature that recommends songs and artists for you based on what you’ve listened to. It really does everything for you. You can even find a playlist based on the day of the week, time of day and your mood. It also has a radio feature that doesn’t tie you down to a specific playlist. I use it every day in the office. Spotify makes it quick and easy to find the perfect song to complement the task I’m working on.
When compared to other platforms, Spotify does have an extensive library of artists. However, there are some who have pulled their music. Obviously, the ads can be quite annoying when you’re using the free version. On the mobile version, you don’t have the option of choosing a particular song to listen to, which isn’t ideal. There are also sometimes weird glitches where a song doesn't play, but you just have to restart the program.
Remember the old days when you used to burn mix cds, well this is pretty much the updated version of that. There is a mix for any kind of mood you're in.You can find new music by listening to other people's playlist or you can create your own music playlists. One of the things I loved when I first starting using 8tracks was that I found that the playlist were made with soul, by people for people, amateur DJs having fun and sharing their talent. Now a days you can see tons of websites or apps that stream music, these sites also offer playlists for their users, but this playlists seem like they are generated by a machine. They lack the human touch of it. The way a DJ can manage your emotions bringing you to a high by combining the right songs.
SoundCloud is a great web app that allows its users to move, share and listen to music. We can receive music easily with minimal effort and time. There is no need for audio files to download one can just play and hear them. SoundCloud is an amazing social sound platform where anyone can create his own sounds and share them. It is also a legal music sharing website. We can drag and drop files into DropBoxes to send files to anyone with a SoundCloud account. If you are Searching for soundscapes? Underground recordings? Live sounds from distant sands? Electro to blow your mind? Latest in trending musical forms? You'll find the good, best, bad, and ugly. Navigate the social network of active listeners and you'll discover your next obsession. SoundCloud also allows the access through apps on iPhone and Android.

If you're looking for a flexible online music service for streaming content rather than purchasing songs to keep, then Spotify is a well-balanced service that has enough options to probably suite most people's needs.More about Spotify

In a music world ruled by computers and automated services, 8tracks is a breath of fresh air. I have listened to computer generated playlists so much, I really didn’t realize how bad they were until I began using 8tracks. This is an application created by music lovers for music lovers. It makes being a DJ somewhat of a status symbol. Now that I have discovered such an amazing way to listen to music, I can’t see myself ever going back to applications such as Pandora. 8tracks has developed a listening experience that truly feels personal and creates a much more intimate atmosphere.More about 8tracks

In spite of the fact that Rhapsody is a veteran Internet music provider, they realize they are up against some heavy competition. It is obvious they are really pushing for their MP3 store to take off and start competing with contenders like iTunes; unfortunately, it seems services like Napster and Amazon MP3 are beating them to the punch. However, if you are used to using Rhapsody and comfortable with their services, it is a great place to start your music hunt.More about Rhapsody
