  • In spite of the fact that Rhapsody is a veteran Internet music provider, they realize they are up against some heavy competition. It is obvious they are really pushing for their MP3 store to take off and start competing with contenders like iTunes; unfortunately, it seems services like Napster and Amazon MP3 are beating them to the punch. However, if you are used to using Rhapsody and comfortable with their services, it is a great place to start your music hunt.

  • The Rhapsody app is fantastic for listening to your favorite tracks on demand, but it's missing a few key features that desktop users readily enjoy.

  • Going on 10 years strong, Rhapsody continues out pace the competition with great social features, millions of songs, and an easy to use interface.

Rhapsody is very versatile, thanks to its extensive hardware compatibility and massive catalog, and we love the depth provided by the well-integrated editorial content. The social component is a very good start, and we hope Rhapsody continues to develop it.

  • The Rhapsody app gives you much more listening freedom than Internet radio apps, although you will have to pony up for a monthly subscription. However, if you buy a lot of music from iTunes, a subscription certainly makes sense. The offline mode is a huge perk since you can listening to music anywhere -- even if you don't have an Internet connection. Aside from not having the ability to purchase MP3s directly from the app, I can't see many downsides to having Rhapsody on your iPhone.

Is it right for you? There is no denying that Rhapsody is a top class service which delivers music in style. The software has a clean, user-friendly interface that makes it a breeze to navigate and choose your music without any fuss. From a beginner's point of view, this is good news as the whole experience doesn't require a steep learning curve.
