Photo saver.. My computer is a total mess, it automatically misplaces the pictures, due to the mishap I lost a bunch of pictures, then I joined Photobucket, wooww.. I stored all of my pictures there now, even when my computer crashes my pictures are safe. It allows us to directly upload images from PC, FB, or from URLs too. We can share pictures uploaded on the Photobucket directly to other social media sites. Few editing tools are there too, just to give a picture a brighter look. When we join account and join it with Facebook, it synchronises pictures from facebook, and then it's up to us which picture we want to select. Privacy settings are available on the site. We can even add individual passwords to the site. Works well for me!

Pros :

  • It Can handle large files, either 10 MB photo or 100 MB we can upload it to Photobucket.
  • Automatic backup tasks based on the "hot folder" principle.
  • Easy interface.

Cons :

  • Limited Space Saving - 10 GB.

Mozy is one of those that you don't know you would ever need until your computer dies and leaves you with nothing but a brick and all your data lost. This light and easy to use application allows you to backup all of your files online aka in the cloud where your data will be safer than on your personal computer. There are loads of competitors in this segment, while Mozy is not the best at what it does it is very decent and priced adequately.

Pros :

  • The user interface is simple and comprehensive. Functions are where you expect them to be.
  • The restore option is well made. You are able to choose individual files to restore, and it happens rather quickly.
  • The sign-up process is pretty straightforward. You are able to create an account and start backing up your files in under 20 minutes.
  • It seems Mozy is more focused on simplicity rather than security. It doesn't appear to me that their servers in the backend are the safest out there, which may cause privacy concerns if you host confidential on this platform.
  • Mozy supports the most common operating systems as well as mobile devices where you are able to browse all your backed up files.

Cons :

  • The first backup is really slow even if your internet bandwidth is above average. Expect to spend upwards of 2 hours per gigabyte of data.
  • Mozy is affordable but not ideally priced compared to its competitors. I believe it does not have a free version and the different tiers offer less space than most other software.
  • You are forced to upgrade to a server version of the software if you run Mozy on a server. Even if you do not use any of the server specific features such as Hyper-V backup, you have to purchase the extra key to even run Mozy.

Amateur photographers will benefit from the sheer publicity they can squeeze out of Photobucket. With options to share your photos over the most popular and some less common social media sites, sharing your photos with friends, family and potential clients is easy. Upload times are fast and can handle giant files from heavy artillery cameras. This photo sharing service is great for keeping the photos from all of your devices in a central location. But unless you apply privacy settings to all your photos, your work is just as easy for others to share.

Store files with different sizes and shapes on Mozy. This company also uses various applications which allow you to view your files on mobile devices and tablets remotely. As a result, you can work on your computer no matter where you might be. Overall, Mozy is a reputable online backup service that provides top notch online storage for your files."

The limitations for file storage are one of the main drawbacks to using Photobucket. Even after downloading the mobile app, 10GB really isn't a lot of space when you are heavily into graphic design. For the casual user, it may be a perfect size. The price comparison of the upgrades are another pause for consideration. For the largest account, you could spend almost $400 per year, but it's only half of the size that some other free alternatives automatically provide. The included nuances that Photobucket provides may not justify using the limited service.

Mozy's biggest sin wasn't mentioned in any of the reviews. An obvious reason for making backups is to be protected from accidentally deleting files. If your fingers slip while typing, you can wipe out dozens of files and not realize it. Or someone else using your computer might delete them. Or there may be a glitch in the file system and Windows loses track of some files. If you delete a file by accident and don't notice it, Mozy will delete the backups of the file too. I kid you not.
