So there you have it. I honestly can’t recommend this enough. I subscribe to online services of all 3 major sports (sorry hockey), which ends up being $500 for the year. I know that may sound like a lot, but considering how much I love my sports it’s well worth it. For about half the price of a Premium TV cable service costs here, I can watch literally, every game of all the major professional sports whenever I want. This is how all media should be. I’m looking at you HBO GO.

Although it doesn't offer true high-definition picture, MLB.TV Premium is a loaded package that delivers a lot for an eminently reasonable price. If you're a baseball fan of an out-of-market club and you have the means to stream through your gaming console, this is a great service to sign up for.

It depends on what time of fan you are. If you eat, sleep and breath baseball (not just the Yankees), then MLB.tv is a wise investment. The ability to watch your favorite non-Yankee players and teams can't be found anywhere else. But since 95% of my baseball time is spent on one team, I prefer Extra Innings, for the superior quality and reliability.
