Depositphotos have caught my attention for a few reasons, mostly because they seem to mean business. Too many new sites launch with a bit of 'creative emailing' and a few well placed "oh i've just found..." forum posts, but these guys seem to be taking the right steps (advertising, incentivising new uploads, giving their feedback on forum threads etc.). But that still does not guarantee success.

All in all buying photos from Depositphotos isn’t exactly cheap. No. But then again licensed royalty-free images come at a price and you will have to invest a lot no matter which stock-photography platform you decide to choose. Other than that Depositphotos is a pretty good place if you are looking for high-quality images to supplement your articles and are fed up with spending hours, looking for free options.

Although Depositphotos is a relatively new company, it has much to offer and is worth considering. The large and ever-growing repository of photos, vectors and videos is also a good indication that the company is doing well and investing in its growth. In addition to this, the fact that you can try their service without committing to buy is a clear message that the company is confident in its service. Overall, it seems that Depositphotos is here to stay and is definitely one of the contenders for the lucrative stock photography market.
