A fantastic learning system. The free version is mainly just vocabulary lists with a really good automated review system, but the paid version has the kind of lessons you would get from an accredited language course.
I use Camtasia for demo videos, explanatory videos and also for client support. With so many projects being computer-based these days, the ability to actually show what's happening on your screen is so important. Having done computer support over the phone many times, it's often impossible to accurately describe what needs to be done in a way that newbies can understand... but anyone can follow a visual example. When offering support for my web apps, my clients are blown away when they get a personalized video with me reviewing their issue, and they can see how I solve it or hear/see the explanation. I use it almost daily.
Lynda is an amazing training library. If you are a subscriber, you have the benefit to learn from more than 3,000 online learning courses. Lynda’s lessons are structured in segments that are not very long, about 5 to 10 minutes each, and they will focus on a particular procedure or skill. It is sequential and very well organized. The training is for software such as Adobe products, Google, Microsoft. Some other subjects include 3D, animation, audio, business, design, developer, home computing photography, video and web/interactive. You pay monthly to have unlimited access to this video-learning/training library. You also have access to other resources such as worksheets and templates. For example, if you are interested in learning how to code, this website will teach you technical skills and techniques to do so. Although I have not used it for the business perspective, this website allows businesses to improve as well. This is a great training alternative as your own personal learning site or for your employees to motivate them to improve or learn new skills. I use it to learn about video editing and photography, I enjoy their easy to follow tutorials that allow you to go at your own pace. I also liked their video and audio quality, as well as how knowledgeable and well prepared their teachers are.
Wikispaces Classroom is a great tool to create wiki pages for collaboration and students’ participation. I use it with my students, I created groups and assigned students to different groups for a specific topic to be researched. The privacy setting allows me to manage who is allowed in the group, which is an extra safety step when working with students. In addition, students work on real time so I can see their progress, read their interactions and collaborate to their group discussions too. It is a very user-friendly wiki site, suitable for middle school, high school and educators who are tech savvy. The websites you'll create in Wikispaces are organized with hyperlinks and searchable tags. There is a seven minutes of video tutorials on Wikispaces.com’s help page to guide beginners how to create and to share their wiki pages with an audience. Each wiki page has a name, a tag and it can be edit, add to and add members too. Each page has an edit button that provides a few options such as: to insert pictures, to create links to other pages, and more. Wikispaces classroom allows students to insert avatars, widgets, videos and any other web 2.0 applications or audio files to improve their wiki pages. This is really a great opportunity for teachers to incorporate technology into their repertoire, for students to develop 21st-century skills and to align your curriculum to Common Core Standards related to technology. Please remember to review your Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) for the district you work for to ensure proper online safety and behavior.
I think this program focuses too much on spelling words. I would like to see more opportunities to identify correct words by clicking on them. I would also like to see a short skit/cartoon illustrating the activity and using the vocabulary in context. Then we could practice with words and pictures. Spelling words should come much later in the learning process.

The app is also refreshingly clean and simple to look at, so there’s very little to distract you from the business of learning. However, you may find it a bit dry, which, let’s face it, may be an issue, particularly if you have bad memories of language class from your school days. A Wi-Fi or mobile data connection is needed to upload your data, by the way.More about +Babbel

What do you like best?Super easy to record a video / demo, and then edit. Solution includes really useful video and audio effects like cropping or zooming if your recording area changes during recording. I use this software to record any/all webinars that we host, as well as to record demos of our product features. We then publish to services like Wistia which allows us to track usage of those videos on our website. What do you dislike? There are some limitations on file types that you can edit or export to. But rarely is that an issue for meMore about Camtasia

In sum, I just love the heck out of Lynda. Instruction is concise. Each tutorial series is so well-planned.The detail and thought that goes into producing each video is apparent. From the onscreen slides to the words spoken by the instructor, each lesson is a well-crafted production.I have no complaints about Lynda. Maybe that makes it more of an infatuation than love, but it’s being going on for a long time.More about Lynda

Over the past eight years, Wikispaces has become a teacher favorite, a site where educators can set up blogging posts for their students. The company didn't originally see itself as an "education" company.More about Wikispaces Classroom

When looking at both sites, I really like the look and feel of Babbel, but I don’t like the cost and I don’t like the lack of languages I want to learn.More about +Babbel
