  • To wrap things up, though there is a lot more to talk about, it’s safe to say that if you’re looking for a decent and practical tool to create websites, then you can certainly try CoffeeCup Free HTML Editor.

  • The plain text approach means this isn't the simplest web design tool around, but if you're happy working with HTML code then the Free HTML Editor has plenty to recommend it

  • For intermediate to advanced developers, CoffeeCup HTML Editor is a robust editor with several non-standard features included. Some of these features make development faster, such as a comprehensive tag reference for HTML, PHP and CSS. Other features make development easier, such as the code snippets tool, character support and the ability to add 10 different browsers for in-program use and cross-browser compatibility issues.

All in all, we found CoffeeCup HTML Editor to be the strongest HTML editor available, and a great deal for the price.

This interesting web page editor combines powerful visual editing interface with traditional editing functions source text editor that everything usually offers.
So, you can make an expert editing code page, or use the convenience of the “WYSIWYG” editing, drag-and- drop items, for those who are not familiar with HTML programming.
But the strength of this editor is in their libraries ready to copy and paste, which facilitate the insertion of the most typical of a website (effects on pictures, clocks, forms, sounds, etc.) functions scripts.

The application has correction tools and code validation, although some of them need to be connected to the Internet (for example, HTML code validation is performed using the WC3 HTML Validator tool).
This editor is a simple and powerful application that facilitates editing and proofreading websites, both users and experts who do not know how programming languages can be used.

It is free, so allows anyone to use it without any investment of money, making it ideal for a novice user, who want solutions to their problems.
Another difficulty for novice users is having to upload the pages to the web server via FTP. By having an integrated FTP manager, you can upload a web server without quitting the program itself.

The main features of CoffeeCup HTML Editor are its assistants (inserting images, links, menus DHTML, etc.) trying to HTML elements as objects with their properties, syntax highlighting (HTML, CSS, PHP, ASP) , multi- file editor, FTP client, drag

    Pros :

    • CoffeeCup HTML Editor is available for free for 30 days. This is enough time to develop a site.
    • It is very easy to use. Leaving aside some complex advanced features for the sake of simplicity
    • Gives one-click access to HTML tags underlying its Web page, simply moving between Visual Editor and the Code Editor. Ease of editing is obtained WYSIWYG.

    Cons :

    • It often does not develop the HTML and CSS as efficient as possible.
    • Sometimes developing websites look different in different browsers

CoffeeCup HTML Editor is a long-time trusted HTML editor. There's a free version that's great to just grab and use when you need to edit HTML and don't have the time or money to fuss around with more expensive products like Adobe Dreamweaver. Both are pretty much the same: you can edit HTML, CSS, PHP, code is colored to make it easy to read, tabs to sort pages, local organization, remote connection, cross-platform options, preview your work in a browser, have components that update everywhere, drop down code selections and more. There's a built-in HTML validation tool to make sure that the HTML is written correctly, which is important, as one wrong character can make a big difference on a website. It also has code-completion, meaning when you open an HTML tag, then go to close it with the less than sign <, it'll fill in the rest of it for you to close the tag, saving you typing 3 or more characters. Every little bit to speed up the process of writing lines of code helps. Two other interesting features include the multi-file replacement tool - to make changes in one file then make the same change across multiple files automatically - and the CSS menu builder - building menus can be a pain - so reducing this pain is a great help. There are also tutorials to help guide users through the process of building nearly any part of a website.

    Pros :

    • Free and comparatively low cost paid version.
    • Colored coded code to make it easy to read.
    • Works for HTML, CSS, PHP and more.
    • Trusted brand name - Code components to save time.
    • HTML validation
    • Multi-file replacement tool
    • CSS menu builder

    Cons :

    • None that I can think of off the top of my head.
