We have been using SnapEngage for a few weeks, and it has been going well. The set-up is pretty simple, as you create the profiles for chat agents and the design of the chat using pretty straightforward tools, then the HTML is pasted into place on the pages where live chat desired. The officers know where the visitor is from with some basic information about the region, which can help to determine who the closest dealer or service rep might be, depending on what the visitor is needing. It is also great that the agents can send files and even transfer chats between actors, if necessary.

Pros :

  • Price is high, especially when it can be used across multiple sites.
  • Gives great insight into the customer.
  • Easy to navigate agent portal Analytics to understand better who is chatting at what times and how that information can help improve hours of availability and automation to commonly asked questions.

Cons :

  • It can be a little tricky to create a custom image for the live chat button that looks just the way you want it to look.

This is a very intuitive, user-friendly program, both from the front and the backend. Customers will find it easy to navigate when submitting help tickets, searching your knowledge base, following along with troubleshooting guidelines and contacting your live help. Your representatives will find that its straightforward interface makes real time visitor monitoring, ticket and email management, knowledgebase creation and administration and news publishing all quick and convenient. They will also find its calendar, contact and task integration sharing indispensable.

I’ve seen a big difference in sales because of Snapengage. Customers come to my site and are able to have a conversation with me before abandoning my site. Visitors are far more likely to book an appointment because they were given the chance to speak to a real person! With a free trial for 2 weeks, it’s worth trying out.

Kayako Use Cases and Deployment ScopeAt StyleEase Software, LLC, we use Kayako as our Support Ticket system. This is mainly used in the support department, but it can also be used for wholesale questions.

SnapEngage is full featured, or even over featured if there’s such a thing. We appreciate its capabilities which make it one of the top ten best live chat tools in this review. However, minor lapses that we’ve taken into account together place SnapEngage in this rank. But in general, SnapEngage is amazing!
