  • Using a CRM platform to manage your business

    In my business, I started using Microsoft's Office suite of products to manage my customer base. Then I started using QuickBook's customer center's system to manage client information, but neither of those solutions really helped. I then started looking online for systems that can handle my needs. I first signed up with HubSpot to use their CRM system and I loved their Sidekick program that allowed me to see who opened my emails that I sent them. But their CRM is limited and so I asked a number of clients, friends and family for recommendations on the CRM they use and many small businesses came back with Zoho's CRM platform. The system is great and has many add-on modules that are either inexpensive or free to add to your account helping with your business. From being able to see the social brand strength on your social networks to being able to monitor tickets and other essential business tools, Zoho has you covered.

    Pros : social monitoring tools, ease of use

    Cons : Getting started is not so easy

    Zoho more for less money

    I use Zoho in one of my companies and i only can recommend this app. Zoho has done a great job integrating a lot of really great features for very few dollars. It has a lot of integrations and works great.

    Pros : Great Features Great Integrations Little price

    Cons : Some features are a little technical for new users

    Best Value for Money CRM

    We have used different CRM and despite the capacities, most of the success is based on a proper configuration and a good implementation and cultural change. We are very happy with Zoho CRM as it has more than enough functionality and flexibility to adapt to your business and yet a very accesible price for this range of products

    Pros : Value for money Advanced functionalities

    Cons : More difficult to hire people with previous expertise with the tools than with other market leaders

  • I use Zoho throughout my business and help my clients use Zoho.

    Zoho CRM Use Cases and Deployment ScopeI use zoho in all aspects of my organization and I love it. I use Zoho CRM, Books, Campaigns and Sites. I have also used zoho Project. I love the affordability and the massive amounts of functionality at the fingertips of small businesses like mine.

    Pros : Highly customizable. They let you change the CSS in zoho Sites! Zoho CRM is highly customizable and just has amazing functionality.zoho Systems integrate very well together so you can pick and choose which tools match your business needs and put them together.zoho is always rolling out new functionality. Just yesterday they rolled out integration of Zoho Books with Square as a payment receiving application. I am delighted.

    Cons : I can't see any weaknesses for the value for the money.

    Powerful, easy to customize CRM platform for small to mid-size companies. Quote and order manage

    Zoho CRM Use Cases and Deployment ScopeOur business unit is the primary user base of Zoho CRM within my organization, however two other business units also leverage it as well although to a lesser extent.  It addresses typical CRM requirements/problems related to recording information about accounts, contacts, and potential opportunties. We also use the workflow automation and custom functions to do things like automatically create tasks and send notification emails for things like customer renewals.  We use custom functions to do things like automatically fill in the city and state based on a street address and zip code, or to roll up total dollar amount of wins to the accounts module.  We also assign and track tasks using the activities module.

    Pros : Zoho CRM is easy to customize and has some powerful features. There are lots of options for creating new fields, interfacing with third party services or web applications, and implementing workflow automation rules.Creating roles and groups is also very intuitive and useful. You can then collaborate by tagging users or groups when leaving notes within a given module.The integration with Google Apps is also strong, as well as the BCC drobox and zoho Mail features.

    Cons : Attaching files from Google Docs - rather than allowing you to simply link to the document you actually have to attach the document (which uses storage within zoho) and causes it to become static (as opposed to if it was left on Google Docs and simply linked).Support is not always the best at recognizing and addressing issues in a timely manner, but this has been improving.It can be difficult to export sections of data within a given module.

    Zoho at a Glance

    Zoho CRM Use Cases and Deployment ScopeWe use it to track deals and record touches. We are a small company so everyone uses in some capacity. Management peers into zoho to the number of deals that will immeniently close. Sales uses it to track their pipeline. At times, it is also used to determine ownership of a deal as some clients overlap.

    Pros : searching for clientssometimes i only have a little bit of info and its usually enough to find what i am looking forbasic layoutsome CRMs can get too elaborate and busyzoho is nice and simpleit is generally pretty stableI can only thing of 5-6 times in three years it was not accessible

    Cons : adding data to the client pageit takes too many clicks of the mouse to do soclick edit, then click inside the box, input data then saveit would be nice to the primary stay stationary while being able to scroll the rest of itfor instance being able to see the phone number and names while still scrolling down thru all the notes that had been writtenit would be nice to have the ability to choose frequently used statuses for the notesLVM, left mesg, sent email, etc

  • Zoho is a very comprehensive, easy to use and relatively inexpensive solution. It's a great solution for organizations that are serious about establishing a comprehensive process for tracking and managing all contact / client communications.

  • Zoho CRM doesn’t look fancy when you use it, but it offers the same services you could pay up to 4x as much for with other software. You can track your sales, connect with your customers, and integrate your CRM account with other apps to expand it into a customized business solution. It even allows you to sync your account with Google Apps.

    Overall, Zoho does a great job of providing plenty of self-help information from blogs to videos.It's a great value for the price.

  • What do you like best?

    1. Ease of importing contacts from Outlook.

    What do you dislike?

    Creating customized reports has been a challenge. While there are a wide variety of sales activity and account reports, I'm limited in the fields I can choose. I'm currently running three reports instead of one. Would also like to see where I can put monthly order count numbers to perform a trend analysis on customers.

    What do you like best?

    Our company uses Google Business Apps therefore the easy of setup and functionality of Zoho CRM in this environment made it a win-win. In addition, the CRM capabilities of Zoho rival Saleforce.com, especially for small to medium businesses.

    What do you dislike?

    It takes awhile for you to understand which Zoho module you need to use and leverage. After a week of looking through documentation, we asked for a demo. Once our questions were answered, we felt confident to move forward with the implementation.

    I like the low-cost of Zoho CRM, and the fact that Zoho offers many other products that integrate with it.

    What do you dislike?

    I don't like the fact that Zoho CRM lacks high-end features that allow users to extend and integrate with non-Zoho applications.
