    We use WorkEtc in a CPA firm for tracking customers, projects, support requests, and discussion among staff. The combination of a singular customer database among functional areas is a big productivity boost for our firm. We have yet to use some of the marketing and sales features but what we have been able to use is great.

    Pros : Customer portal is useful for getting customer information Customizable forms are great for capturing data from the portal and on our company sites. Customer Support functionality is excellent for getting the customer needs cataloged to be address and measured.

    Cons : Portal needs more development. Has so many features it can be overwhelming

    Wow - Work[etc] Is An Order of Magnitude Better than Expected

    Wow....we looked at the app thinking its was a low end CRM....what we got was an app that if we were in a do over, could replace our Salesforce Service Cloud EE, Desk.com support portal, and Smartsheet Project management in one pass. Very tight integration with Xero for PSA, and a Professional Services Platform that is on the level with workflowMAX. This product is going to become our "go to" for CRM/Customer Service in the Google Apps Ecosystem.

    Pros : The product is like a techie onion...there are features on features on features. We thought we were going to do a quick evaluation for an alternative to Insightly at the bottom end of the market. What we got was a product that could give Salesforce Service Cloud EE a run for its money. The combination of CRM, Customer Support with ticketing, a Support Portal and Project Management/PSA makes this an incredible value for the $$...al of the integrations are very tight.

    Cons : There is a short list of critical items to move Work[etc] for excellent to category killer. They are. 1. dropbox for Business Integration 2.Okta SAML 2.0 SSO Integration 3. Tighter integration with Google AdWords and Analytics The company needs a stronger evangelist presence in the US markets.

    You will not find a more supportive platform.

    I'll apologize for the lengthy review in advance, but hear me out. My company is small...7 employees, but growing. We rely on technology to help us serve our clients better while managing a very complex set of compliance requirements (on a daily basis) to meet regulatory demands. We needed a system that wouldn't force us to change our work flows to conform to theirs. We've found that with WORKetc. On the CRM and Project modules, we use them extensively for lead management, regulatory filings and then annual management of our accounts. I just can't explain the ease and natural progression of the Projects/Sub-projects/Tasks that support each of our processes...you just have to experience it. Recently, I thought I had...I'll call her "Susan" (Queen of WORKetc New Client Onboarding) on the "auto-progressing" when it came to moving on to the next sub-project after completing the previous one. Not going to happen, I'm thinking. Know what she said? "Yes, it will do that, but I think you might want to think about a different method that will be better for your process". She then launched into a series of questions about our business and how we worked as a team. What? Truthfully, customer service is what I want to finish with. As you can gather, I'm a huge supporter of this platform. I'm not paid to do this, not an employee, just a small business person trying to improve on what we do. To help with that, I really needed a system that was backed with superb customer service so they could help us identify the best way to use the system. Know of any platforms that provide that? Incredibly rare, but I found one. I've NEVER experienced the level of support that I've found here, and I've tried multiple platforms. WORKetc offers something called, "Quick Start". Let me save you some time...do it. The cost is offset against the subscription, so it's a no-brainer! Save yourself a tremendous amount of headache...experience their service firsthand. I promise you won't regret it. If you'd like, reach out to me directly with questions or comments and I'll respond as soon as I can and share our best practices. Maybe it will help you, maybe it won't, but I'm a believer in WORKetc and want to encourage other creative users to join in and make it even stronger.

    Pros : The support is second to none Complete linkage between data fields Adapts to YOUR workflow, not forcing you to use the systems The custom field options are amazing.

    Cons : The UI could use a little "feng shui", but I know that's on the roadmap Honestly, I haven't found any true cons yet, but I'm looking!!

  • The importance of philosophy and your company's management.

    WORKetc Use Cases and Deployment ScopeWork[etc] is being used by Virtual Resort Manager, Inc. primarily as CRM and project management tools. This products allow us to keep close contact with our clients and manage internal development projects such as websites. I mainly use this for CRM and have used other CRM softwares. I have to say this one is the best yet. The other products did a good job of managing tech support, however they didn't offer other features such as project management in an all in one solution. The software also helps us maintain and centralize company documents making our internal knowledge base available anywhere and to anyone in VRM. I look forward to exploring other features and the continued feature upgrades Work[etc] has to offer!

    Pros : The Dashboard is a great feature that allows you plenty of space to organize work queue, support cases. They leave this area open to move windows around, resize, and organize to your liking. As a result, this provides a quick look at the features important to your needs.Work[etc] allows for an indirect way to sync its calendar. This is very important to keep all employees on the same page for a quick look at meetings, out of office vacations, etc.Timesheets allow us to keep a log of our time

    Cons : The one thing Work[etc] needs to improve on is speed. We live in an instant world and when I click on something, I expect it to go there right away. The slowness is a matter of milliseconds though, just more of a OCD thing when surfing the net that I have. The good thing about Work[etc] is they are always working on improving their product. Although I say this now, they already have features to speed up their system. Their continues support gives me confidence any concerns I may have will

    WORKetc simply works!

    WORKetc Use Cases and Deployment ScopeBefore WORKetc the information that one of our employees needed at any one time could be in as many a 4 different applications or systems.  From our rudimentary help desk system to free floating excel spread sheets to emailing everyone in the company to see if anyone had the information they were looking for.  Many of our employees started creating their own documents keeping track of information they needed but inevitably - some new piece of information would be need and they wouldn't know where to go for it.  WORK[etc] allows us to keep all that information in one place and it is just a quick search and a click away.  The integration was fairly easy and with the ability to create as many custom fields as we needed - all the information is at our fingertips.  It's still a work in progress - and always will be as information changes, new clients come on board, you know...the day to day.  But everyone is empowered to make the changes when needed so that we keep the data up to date.  WORKetc for us and we have been able to communicate both internally as well as with our clients.

    Pros : One Word...Efficiency! Everything I need to know is just a click away if I don't already have it on my screen.Easy to use and understand.Web-based allows me to access it anywhere I am, including my mobile devices.The knowledge base and blog functionality in WORK[etc] allows us to easily create the documentation and get new and important news out to our clients.

    Cons : The Projects module is functional - but it's not quite there yet. The biggest things is being able to recognize that weekends and holidays are not necessarily working days.

  • The system is versatile and robust enough to support any type of business, but is mainly geared towards SMBs and growing enterprises who are looking for a comprehensive solution that can handle each and every (or just each) business process inherent in their sales cycles.
    So if you’re looking for an all-encompassing solution, try WORKETC out because you may just be impressed…and if you’re not, at least the trial was free.

    The price for a Start-up company, who wants to start out on the right track, systemizing everything right from the beginning, but have no resources to pay for anything. This is not fitted for a shoestring budget so many companies start out with.

  • WORKetc provides a unique software solution that integrates CRM, Project Management and Billing/Accounting into a single online program. It is a good fit for small-medium sized businesses from manufacturing, design to distributors. It has strong marketing and reporting configurations, a clean modern user interface, and is easy to use.

  • Unlike the other applications in this roundup, Worketc is a full productivity and small-business management suite that includes customer relationship management features, billing, sales and project management. If you’re already using Worketc in your business, its project management features are a good option.
