Exchange Server is one of the most known Microsoft software used in companies. Since he was born, was inserted immediately and predominantly in the market, earning his current success.Microsoft Exchange allows any business to have an integrated infrastructure in the Microsoft systems and networks with the main purpose of managing the e-mail messaging and all of its related key features (such as the complete management of calendars, address books and course of e-mail).

Pros :

  • The most widely used user interface is the well-known Microsoft Outlook (software provided by Microsoft in all Office packages), which integrates (obviously) seamlessly with Exchange, it allows you to manage the sorting rules, signatures, e-mail archiving, categorization, clustering, priorities and more.
  • As for the web interface, Microsoft provides OWA (Outlook web access) perfectly and easily integrated into different browser, just access the URL (which you will personalize for your company), enter the username and domain password and you are in your inbox, even here, you will have the option of using the exact same functionality that Exchange makes available on your Outlook client with the limitations that are own of access from a browser.
  • Integration with Active Directory greatly facilitates the use of Outlook especially regarding the sharing with other users (or groups of users, distribution domain groups ) of your appointments, tasks, calendars, address books and more.
  • Of course, no shortage of applications for mobile applications that allow you to integrate the app (native or third-party) for e-mail management with mailbox exchange and setting up a sync frequency options include a server-device-way sync.
  • On this aspect should be specified as the BlackBerry devices performs this function perfectly, although the latest smartphones allow easier viewing of email.

Cons :

  • It has no special minus points being now truly proven software to perfection, surely the management of Microsoft Exchange Server is not the simpler and requires appropriate and detailed knowledge.
  • Microsoft has prepared several certifications indeed, such as MCSE Messaging, which includes also the management of Office 365 (Microsoft cloud services).

As a full-featured, yet simple and direct CRM tool, I think web workers, and especially whose who do a lot of sales-related work, will really appreciate Relenta. It keeps everything together and tightly integrated for those of you who love organization. Personally, I like how it enables me to keep everything nicely contained within my browser, so that if I need a break, all I have to do is quit Firefox and the air is cleared.

We are not dealing with a bad product, just one that is extremely light on traditional CRM functionality.  What it does very well, is enrich the functionality available to what is just usually the back and forth of an activity stream

What do you like best?Have used it briefly and really don't see the need to pay for an additional tool What do you dislike?Cost and need - think this is another MS requirement that we don't need. Freeware is much more functional.
