  • For the money, I haven't found anything better.

We have been using Pipeline deals for almost 6 years now and have little to nothing to complain about. For the money, I don't think there is anything better out there. The phone app is easy to use but could use some tweaking so that certain important functions from the desktop version are available.

Pros : A great value and easy to learn/use.

Cons : Some of the search functions are limited and don't allow cross-referencing. For example, I search by city quite often and I am not always able to find the info I need based on the city only.

Best Customer Service in the CRM world

I've worked with about a half dozen CRMs. PipelineDeals is far and away the best when it comes to customer service which helps a lot if you're managing the system yourself. The UX is super-easy.

Pros : Great Support, easy to use, Solid Functionality

Cons : They are constantly adding new ones, but having even more integrations with other software would be useful.

User Friendly and Easy to Use

Pipelinedeals allows me to keep track of all sales reporting and activities on one platform. Tracking deals now is a lot easier, and I do not have to go through messy documents on google drive.

Pros : Pricing is very reasonable unlimited storage very mobile friendly

Cons : cheaper softwares out there

  • PipelineDeals: Growing, Reliable, Well-Supported

    What do you like best?

PipelineDeals' customer service is unmatched. If you call their number, you will get a patient, attentive, competent human being right away, with almost no waiting time. Their help with understanding the software, configuring it and trouble shooting is by far the most valuable feature of the company.

The look is clean, it is fast, and it is easy to use, especially features including tasks and Deal Stages.

We also loved that there was one flat fee when we first signed on, although this has changed.

    What do you dislike?

Although there are ways to tailor the software to your company, this is limited, especially if you are not focused on B2B sales. So much of the default contact information, for example, is not relevant to our non-B2B company, but even so, mobile phone and email should be the first things after the name and we'd like to be able to set that up as such.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Although we have very successfully used the software for project management as well as sales, the company is moving more towards business-to-business sales of services, which is less relevant to us as a business-to-consumer seller of complete products. PipelineDeals is complete, fully functional, excellently supported software as a service.

What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you realized?

As a solar systems installer, one thing that we liked about PipelineDeals was the way that they manage tasks and events. In fact, the easy-to-use lists of tasks with checkboxes, the calendar, and the Deal Stages convinced us to use the software not only for sales but also for the project management side of our operation. We have had some success with that, and in the future would like to even be able to set up our installers with a mobile app so that they can directly upload pictures, add Activities for hold-ups and questions, and take advantage of the clean and simple checkbox lists of to-dos, so that we may also track their processes. PipelineDeals' focus on business processes and not on the idea of their software being used in the right way is one of their best advantage.

    What do you like best?

I'd have to say the greatest advantage to this system was it's easy setup. I watched a training video, attended a webinar, and called support when I wasn't sure on a thing or two and I was up and running in about a day. I also found it really nice to have support accessible by phone. I'd tried a few CRMs in their price range and was surprised when I stumbled upon PipelineDeals, for $24 a month I get phone support, that was unthinkable with other services and even some of the more expensive options.

    What do you dislike?

I did find a few of the support resource videos to be from what I think are outdated versions of the system, that was somewhat frustrating. The support team explained that they are constantly improving the system, and hadn't gotten around to updating some of the videos- then they walked me through the problem and taught how to correctly operate that aspect. They also don't seem to be accessible via chat, which is frustrating when I want a quick answer.

    What do you like best?

The CRM made sense- UI/UX was important, after confusing experiences with home-grown CRMs, SugarCRM, and Salesforce. This CRM has a really straight-up feel to it.

    What do you dislike?

We don't care for the Goals function we tried to utilize them, found it annoying that we couldn't retrieve past goals after completion. Seems like a simple fix. We also were coming from Salesforce and data import was a challenge- more on Salesforce than Pipeline.

  • Any organization that sells products or services to other businesses would benefit from using PipelineDeals. This is especially true for businesses with very complex sales funnels or problems with sales representatives who miss details or follow-up opportunities that could prove to be costly. Companies that are already making extensive use of Google tools will find this application will make a fine addition to what they are already doing. It is also a good tool for cost-conscious companies who want to keep their tools as simple and effective as possible.

  • Pipelinedeals is very simple to use. It's a no-fuss piece of software that will at least introduce you nicely to the world of CRMs. When your company has 20 employees and you have a hundred of open deals, you might have to consider switching. But, all in all, Pipelinedeals does everything it needs to do. New employees will also have a very easy time picking up Pipelinedeals.

  • The bottom line about Pipeline Deals is that if you’re looking for a very affordable, attractive, and reasonably powerful sales CRM platform, Pipeline may do the trick. With the 30-day trial offer, it’s worth setting up an account and trying it out with a few test accounts. They’re constantly making updates to the platform, so keep an eye open on their blog and customer updates to see how they evolve over time. However, if you’re handling large volumes of customer leads & prospects and don’t have sales people to actually get to those people, Pipeline may just not be the right tool for your needs.
