We have 2 different companies running on timetonote. The system is really simple to use and provides good background of what is going on in the business. The email tracking is really useful and the integration with Google mail and apps are very useful.

    InsideView provides a lot of useful data when trying to prospect specific companies within a certain industry at a defined revenue range. If you're looking for a tool that provides you detailed information on certain companies, this tool is worth investigating.If you're looking to prospect specific leads within these companies, however, InsideView may not be your best bet. You can keep up-to-date with changes in companies you follow, including leadership changes, new offerings, acquisitions, and partnerships. There is even a section to view Twitter posts from the company you are following or its employees.

    Pros :

    • This tool is an excellent source for company information such as employee count, revenue, headquarters information, and competitors.
    • The Salesforce plugin is very useful as it provides the information in one place, instead having to switch between tabs or windows.
    • The insights are very useful, allowing discussion points with prospects and leads.
    • It is also possible to build a list based on several factors, such as location, employee and revenue size, industry and business types and several others, for both companies and individuals.

    Cons :

    • There are a large amount of contacts that are out-of-date.
    • The contacts also have no direct dials - a VERY crucial piece of information for prospecting and outbound.
    • A large portion of my leads are generated through prospecting and outbound and without direct dials, it makes it more difficult to perform my job effectively.
    • Dialing directly to the prospect can cut a phone call down by as much as 10 mins - avoiding dial trees or being placed on hold.
    • Direct dials also decrease the chances of reaching gatekeepers, improving the chances your prospect will actually receive the message.
    • I have also experienced some of the headquarter numbers provided to be incorrect or just not in service.
    • There have been occasions in which the numbers were for a local branch or a customer service division that is unable to transfer calls.
    • Some of the individuals contact also no longer with the company and have not been for many years.

    I love Contactually. I spend several months researching and testing various CRMs, and Contactually blew them out of the water by a large margin. CRMs can be painfully clunky to use, and I feel like Contactually successfully balances between being easy to use and fully-featured enough to be really useful.

    What do you like best?Super-easy to use, requires no maintenance. gives you a nice overview of the company. Especially like the up-to-date "buzz" section where social media posts are summarized and refreshed frequently What do you dislike?the social media element, while useful, can get overwhelming when looking at a large company - doesn't seem to be much in the way of filtering to remove all the "fluff"

    The software boasts superior functions that are marketed to increase productivity. Although, this may be true in the long run, the amount of time and lack of support on the front end makes adoption an issue. From the start, the system would not accept a conversion from free trial to paid account. When calling sales, there was a sales agent available even at night- WOW! Little did I know that this does not filter down to support! The webinars are overall good; but, the time allotted per webinar is not adequate to cover the material and allow time for questions. They are free though! Once you join and begin using the software, the first thing is to load the data. OK, where is the import tools- there they are! The system will upload the data and respond back that the contacts are already there and when your check, there are no contacts. This stops you cold as contacts are the basis for the system's first step in programming. Support! Ah, here lies the issue. The company failed to respond for over 24 hours to support emails and their own form. They do not provide a phone number for support. In fact, the support comes from an "unknown number." When calling the main number, you will simply be told that no one is "available to help you." Again, the only way to get a support tech is to make a fuzz. Who really has time for that in business? 2 starts for the product- would have been higher if I could actually have gotten to use it. 0 starts for support 5 stars for sales and marketing. Does this seem a little off balance to anyone? Not recommended!
