  • Simple and Great Customer Support

    Very easy and simple program with nice main features. Customer service is very quick to respond and is very helpful.

    Cons : Could use more advanced features for added marketing and ease of CRM use. Also, a better mobile version and/or an app.

    Great, affordable CRM

    It's a tough balance to create a CRM that's easy to use yet highly customizable. BC has hit a nice balance. I haven't even used most of its features yet.

    Pros : Plug n play, mostly. Visually pleasing & understandable. EXCELLENT support! These folks get back to me immediately with help.

    Cons : It's great that files can be stored in each client record. But I don't like having to download them in order to view them. I would like to be able to open them online. Also, it may be because I'm ignorant but it doesn't seem like I can do "or" searches.

    Stop thinking about CRM and get BigContacts!

    I run a small automotive recruitment business in Melbourne Australia and have used local databases for many years. In this industry you need to keep track of "who's who in the zoo" and all previous interactions with them. Several years ago I switched from PC to Mac. My database software was PC only and rather than install Windows on my beautiful new iMac I decided to look for alternatives that would work easily cross-platform. Despite knowing very little about web based applications at that time, I decided to give BigContacts a try. The learning curve was reasonably painless and the support available from BigContacts made the transition relatively easy. At the time I had an associate based in another state and it was great to have both of us on the same CRM as It allowed me to easily monitor his activities and share information. Since then BigContacts have released a new and improved version of the software. BigContacts are very pro-active when it comes to improving the CRM and innovating new features. They take the time to talk to their users and are receptive to all feedback and feedback. I cannot compare BigContacts to other similar products, but because it works so well I have no intention of changing anytime soon. I believe that all businesses will benefit from using a web based CRM. If a "one man band" like me can derive significant upside from using BigContacts, the benefits for a business with multiple staff / locations will be even greater.

    Pros : Cloud based means no platform issues. Easy availability from any internet connected mobile device. Great support from real people!

    Cons : Very few for me although some users might wish for higher level of customisation.

  • Ease-of-use

    It's very intuitive. They just launched a new interface, and it seems even simpler and more streamlined than before.

    Functionality

    My needs are pretty simple, so I haven't looked around at other CRMs as long as I'm satisfied with BC.

    Product Quality

    It meets all my needs. They have an extremely responsive staff for administrative help / support. If you can't figure out how to do something creative, they will help you figure it out.

    Customer Support

    They are extremely responsive. There's a quick turnaround for answers. They also have "how to" help.

    Likes Best

    It's web-deliverable, so you can access BigContacts from any internet connection anywhere. It has a plug-n-play learning curve, and the top-shelf features at a bargain price.

    I compared it to Salesforce.com and other similar websites, but dollar for dollar, not only was BigContacts the best value, it did the job. We update client profiles after every contact, and we send emails and mass mail all with BigContacts from any internet connection.

    I can attach files, photos of clients, or important documents taken with an iPhone when out of the office, and it allows you to track and keep notes about discussions, meetings, documents sent and received. Anything pertaining to the client is there at the click of a mouse.

    I've use BigContacts for eight years (since 2006). I converted from a PC-based ACT! system that I had customized extensively. The web-based CRM was ahead of its time back then and has kept pace with competitors since.

    BigContacts had all the features of a more expensive site like Saleforce.com without the huge cost. Add to that, it's easy to train new employees on BigContacts, which allows them to efficiently support you and the clients sooner. BigContacts.com has been a great complement to keeping my business organized, tracked, and streamlined.

  • If you are prioritizing customer relationship management, BigContacts will give you that focus. I can see both sales and marketing teams getting value from BigContacts in sectors as diverse as commodity sales, services, technology, publishing, real estate, and non-profit.
