Great work management software that is customisable and easy to use. The user interface is mostly intuitive, and is attractive.Since we started using Workfront, visibility of project progress has been dramatically improved across our Professional Service teams. I traffic manage the workload of six teams, each with members distributed across the EMEA region and Workfront is the tool that has enabled me to manage this effectively, gradually improving processes, and hence efficiency.Document storage and Centralised communication have helped improve efficiency both within teams and across teams, and post-project reporting has helped refine processes.
I have never heard of Power Noodle before simply due to the fact that I am not involved in the business aspect of my job. Power Noodle is a business decision-making company that involves stakeholder intelligence solutions as well as one's business intelligence to clearly make business decisions. According to their website, Power Noodle 'provides out-of-the-box Stakeholder Intelligence solutions' that merge together people, the process, and technology to divulge the canvas one's business need to expedite better decisions. The Stakeholder intelligence involves the knowledge that is needed to symphonize, classify, scrutinize and make better decisions. The Business Intelligence involves the data-driven information needed to make decisions. Power Noodle just merges the two entities to make better overall decisions.
It seems that Apptivo cannot realistically address our suppliers issues. There is no way to easily integrate supply products into the system as margins are not automatically calculated etc. The product has loads of potential, but currently, it has serious issues with supply chain management.

What do you like best?A decent tool for Time Tracking, Invoicing, Opportunity management. It essentially seems to be geared toward Professional Services organizations. Especially with features like Time Tracking, Invoicing, etc. I like the fact that these services are integrated and native to the application. What do you dislike?The opportunity management features, reporting, and searching definitely seem to be lacking as compared to Salesforce. The interface is clumsy and difficult to use. Ease-of-useThe ease of use for timesheet input for employees was so-so. The ease of use for billing/invoicing was very difficult.FunctionalityIt met our needs for for time tracking. It didn't for invoicing/using overhead rates, etc.Product QualityIf you are in IT, it's probably good. I'm very disappointed in anaconda version not meeting our needs.Customer SupportIt was great when they were charging us an extra fee per year for support. After that, even if we found a bug (and we found a lot), it was very difficult getting answers quickly; it took days of back and forth.Likes BestI like that it's cloud-based.Likes LeastIt's difficult to get set up, but it's geared more for IT/software than for professional service/engineering. They increased our annual renewal rate by 700% and gave us less than 2 week notice to renew. You can't see the budget hours easily when viewing the tasks or logging time. You have to dig to find the information. Reporting is not slick enough for our industry.RecommendationsMake sure you can set up your overhead rates/billing rates as needed.More about Workfront
