There are a lot of screencast tools for Windows. Mac users have fewer options than other Operating Systems users. ScreenFlow is one of them. This software offers sound recording from microphone or built-in camera along with the screen video. This feature is very convenient because while recording you can immediately give comments. It clearly simplifies the process and eliminates the need for video editing. However, if necessary, the finished video can be edited. ScreenFlow offers a built-in editor with the timeline interface. One can rearrange clips on the timeline, to cut them and set the clips priority. By dragging the mark in the center of the screen, it is possible to rotate the video. When working with video, it is also possible to set the "approaching" on the screen and the brightness. One can crop the picture around the edges, add reflections, adjust color balance, add filters, change the output level of sound and apply audio effects, add annotations and text to the video. Also, the user can make a visual display of mouse clicks and increase the cursor, which is very useful while creating video tutorials. ScreenFlow also offers to dim the entire screen except the place on which the mouse is induced. The video could be uploaded to YouTube or other video sharing services. It is also possible to save the video on one of many supported formats. All settings could be configured manually. It's great that ScreenFlow allows to export a few uncompressed formats. So it is possible to use the external encoder to fine-tune the output format.

Pros :

  • ScreenFlow saves the various media used in the project in a single file.
  • The video editing is available immediately after the capture.
  • Multi-track capability.
  • Capturing multiple video/audio streams at once.

Cons :

  • The program often freezes during the editing.
  • There are a lot of small usability issues.

Magix Video Pro is a very good product sold by Magix. With this product Magix Video Pro joins the many professional products for video editing. The product can be purchased directly from the website, and you can download the evaluation version with the validity of 30 days. Pros:

Pros :

  • The strength of Magix Video Pro is definitely the stability of the program, the excellent functionality, and the multiple tools available, and you will be able to use this software to make professional level video editing to your liking and thus having a very good result of very high quality.
Another strong point of Magix Video Pro is definitely the user interface, this is really well structured, is divided into several areas, first of all, you have available multitrack timeline that is the main part of your project, follow this timeline detailing your video by setting effects, automation, cutting out the important parts of the video etc.
-Via the toolbar of the timeline you can make any type of change to the timeline and to videos that you have included (add text, crop, delete etc.).
  • Next you have the area project folders that will show you all the elements that are part of the project.
  • Above the timeline you have since the program monitor (showing the video you're editing and creating, this will correspond to the result of your installation of your timeline), the source monitor (which allows you to view video sources), the area of import video file that shows the different tabs also the effects, the setting that the metadata etc.
  • Both the Program Monitor that the Source Monitor provide their toolbar through which you can view and crop the part of the video that you want to include in your installation, when you crop you can include it in your timeline and apply effects and image changes.
  • You can, of course, use the majority of commonly used audio and video formats, you can include audio of different types in the tracks of the timeline, change the settings of the audio tracks, to make the mix to adjust the audio output, etc.
  • The project can be created and exported in the most common video formats and in all possible resolutions (360, 720, 1080, 4K etc.), PAL or NTSC, 25fps 50fps etc.

Cons :

  • The cost of the program is quite high, is sold at 400 €.

If you need 3D modeling of human figure most likely you need Poser. The process of setting up character animation is one of the most difficult stages of 3D creation. Poser helps to solve this problem quickly. The Poser user has a complete set of tools for creating and configuring skeletal animation. The main purpose of this app is game assets creation, but it could be also used in medical projects, for simple presentations creation, as well as for multimedia projects where you want to demonstrate human movement in 3D. You can flexibly control the movements of the various parts of the skeleton, to determine the degree of influence of one or another part to the outer shell. There is a console from which the user may control the tilting and rotations of the bones. A definite advantage of the program is that there are a lot of libraries, including animated people, animals, and various scenery that can simplify the creation of environment. Poser compatible with a number of professional 3D editors and also with the most popular game engines — Unity 3D and Unreal Engine. The last Poser release is named Poser Pro Game Dev. This edition can use Kinect for Windows motion capture system. Because of this, it's very easy to achieve the realistic character movements. Poser Pro Game Dev also contains tools for editing the model topology, making it possible to obtain low-poly animation. The other prominent feature — FBX file format support. The earlier Poser version (Poser Pro 2014) includes only Collada import and export.

Pros :

  • A lot of pre-generated content.
  • Good documentation.
  • Kinect for Windows motion capture system support.
  • Popular game engine support.
  • Popular universal 3d formats support.

Cons :

  •  Poser Pro Game Dev version is pricey for the non-pros.
  • The lack of modeling tools Not the best renderer.

In the end, if you have the money to spare towards such an excellant product, I would highly suggest it. ScreenFlow is no doubt the best screen recording software I've ever used. It's stable, fast, efferent when it comes to data usage, and just such a great design overall. Those are the reasons why every Mac user should own this application.

MAGIX Video Pro X2 is . It has all the tools you need to produce high quality video and DVDs, including some that other more expensive editors do not. Oh, yes, I didn’t mention price. If you’re looking to upgrade your editing software MAGIX Video Pro X2 deserves some serious consideration. I know I am using it regularly these days.

Even if you never use Poser professionally and only dabble with it for fun, you’ll be impressed by the quality of 3D work you can produce with relative ease, and gain a new appreciation and understanding for the 3D design and animation work that goes into many of the scenes in films that leave audiences stunned.

There isn’t one software solution for everyone. At half the price of Adobe’s premium offering in video editing,andnbsp;Video Pro X5 is at least worth a look.andnbsp; There are plenty of specific video needs and lots options when it comes to meeting them. I found theandnbsp;Magix Video Pro X5 to be useable compromise of power, price, and versatility.andnbsp;
