  • Awesome presentation tool!

Using PowerPoint is simply outdated! Love the graphic capabilities when using Prezi! Clients love the ability to get a better visual of presentation as well.

Pros : Easy to use, beautiful presentations!

Cons : Can't think of any, it meets all of my current needs.

    Makes you look good

Prezi is the best presentation software I have used. I purchase templates and make the presentations my own. After starting to use Prezi my [prospective] client list has grown because the software can have a very professional feel if utilized correctly.

Pros : - amount of templates available - affordability - portability

Cons : - took several presentations before I got the swing of things, it's not the most intuitive software I've used - I wish there was a file of images or "clip art style" icons I could drag and drop in

Prezi the new way to present

Prezi is one of those apps that until you use it or see a presentation that uses this application you would be hard pressed to find a better presentation format.

Pros : Ease of use Ability to integrate MS Powerpoints

Cons : Can be hard to figure out how to effectively use Controls can be finicky when placing order of slides or inserting items

  • Unique and dynamic, Prezi is freeform presentation software that's terrific for informal and unstructured information. But if you're looking for a slide-based PowerPoint-like alternative, this isn't it.

  • Incredible, easy to use presentation platform

    What do you like best?

I've been using Prezi for almost 3 years now and I can safely say that presentations made on Prezi always stand out from the crowd. I use it every time I want to make a presentation that's different. It's also very user friendly and easy to learn. I also like the fact that while it has pretty cool standard templates, you can also make use a blank Prezi and completely customize it to your needs. Apart from just presentation, with Prezi, you can also make some cool, animated looking videos.

    What do you dislike?

Sometimes when the software gets stuck, I have to refresh and in the process I have lost work. This gets very annoying. Prezi can also lag slightly while presenting in full screen mode at times. I also think that the current rates of Prezi are way too expensive. I wish they had a student discount or more options where you could pay a small amount for the premium features on individual presentations.

Recommendations to others considering the product

My experience with Prezi is most people either like it a lot or don't. I've had Professors explicitly give instructions to students saying "don't use Prezi to present" and I've also had reactions from audience where in they love it and want to know what I used to make my presentation. Using Prezi also obviously requires a little extra effort as compared to using say PowerPoint or Google Slides. I think the best time to use Prezi is when it's a very special presentation and you want to stand out completely from the crowd.

What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you realized?

I've used Prezi both for business purpose and for class. I think the biggest benefit of using Prezi is that it get's the audience to really pay attention to what's happening on the screen and what you're saying.

Prezi allows for editing on the go.

    What do you like best?

What I like the best about Prezi is that NOT ONLY IS IT COMPLETELY FREE (except if you choose to buy the upgraded version), but I can edit my presentation on the go. I do not need to be on my computer using specific software (i.e windows powerpoint). Personally, if I am working on a big presentation, sometimes ideas for the powerpoint come to mind when I am away from my computer. This is where Prezi comes in handy. I can quick bring up Prezi on my mobile device FOR FREE and put my idea in the power point before I forget! Also, perhaps one of the most important things with Prezi is that it allows for me to make last second edits to my presentation while I am on the go.

    What do you dislike?

I dislike the lack of formality with Prezi. One advantage costly software such as Microsoft power point is that you get a professional looking presentation. Prezi provides an excellent way to create, edit, and deliver power point presentations on the go, but you are sacrificing looks for convenience and cost when you use Prezi. It would be better if they used a style similar to Microsoft Power Point.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would use Prezi if I need to whip up a quick Business/Informal presentation. However, if I needed to make a professional looking presentation, I would stay away from Prezi.

What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you realized?

The business problem that Prezi solves is providing a free, easy to use presentation software to the general public. All you need to use Prezi is wifi (or data on your cell phone). Prezi is great for informal business presentations. One great business problem Prezi solves is that when Businessmen/women are on the go and do not have steady access to Microsoft Power Point, they can use Prezi and have no worries about their presentation. With Prezi, anyone can trust that their presentation is safely stored in the internet.
