  • Arcsoft PhotoStudio is a simple and one of the best photo editing software that has limited tools, filters and special effects. The user interface is one of the simplest and easiest to work on. It is ideal for beginners who want to start their career in the photo editing field. Professionals might be impressed with the limited amount of tools, but help support might rub them on the wrong side.

• ArcSoft PhotoStudio is outdated and outdone by the higher ranked products. The lack of sharing options and limited file format support is disappointing. If you are looking for a powerful photo editor with the latest features, then you would be better off considering the other programs in this category can rather than PhotoStudio.

ArcSoft PhotoStudio might be mediocre and middle-of-the-road in terms of image editing software programs, but it shouldn’t be dismissed outright. With an expansion of its image/graphic design features, an interface overhaul and a few polishes to existing tools, ArcSoft PhotoStudio could return to form as a contender, leaving behind the ranks of the also-rans.

  • ArcSoft PhotoStudio supports layers and macros, includes a wide variety of editing and drawing tools, and even features special retouching effects that can do things such as age your photo, make close ups of faces more beautiful, add frames and modify lighting.
ArcSoft PhotoStudio makes it easy to edit your photos, while also providing access to fun masks and effects. This makes it an all-round good bet.

  • Along with the usual editing tasks PhotoStudio 6 works great as a "de-noiser," with very high megapixel and 48-bit images, and as a program that offers macro recording for reuseable functions you apply to a batch of photos. It will not give Photoshop a run for its money, but it did impress me overall at the tasks I performed.

  • The program features a very simple and intuitive user interface with a straight-forward design which does not require any technical knowledge to be operated and makes this task a breeze. The custom macro and batch processing features are very useful and enable you to process hundreds of photos in a single action.
